Daschle and DemocRATS...Lying ******* Hypocrites (Evidence Included)
March 18th, 2003 | The Finman

Posted on 03/18/2003 5:34:33 PM PST by The Finman

Daschle in another meltdown hissy fit screeched that he was "saddened, saddened that this president failed so miserably at diplomacy that we’re now forced to war" in a purely partisian and hypocritical shot at President Bush.

However in 1998 when it came to Clinton, Daschle wrote to Clinton demanding that he "take all necessary and appropriate actions to respond to the threat posed by Iraq's refusal to end its weapons of mass destruction programs." as he personally co-sponsored a war resolution that urged Mr. Clinton to use military action against Iraq.

In another hypocritical statment regarding that 1998 resolution, Daschle went on to say that the 1998 resolution that he co-sponsored would "send as clear a message as possible that we are going to force, one way or another, diplomatically or militarily, Iraq to comply with their own agreements and with international law."

Da$$hole went even went a step further and stated "Look, we have exhausted virtually all our diplomatic effort to get the Iraqis to comply with their own agreements and with international law. Given that, what other option is there but to force them to do so? That's what they're saying. This is the key question. And the answer is WE DON'T HAVE ANOTHER OPTION. WE HAVE GOT TO FORCE THEM TO COMPLY MILITARY!."

Now that Bush is President, Da$$hole has opposed this President (a REPUBLICAN President) at every single possible turn regarding military action against Iraq for no other reason than pure transparent poltical partisianship.

I could give you a long rant about Daschle, but I think that Daschle hypocritical statements not only speak volumes about the character (or actually complete lack of character) of Senator Da$$hole, besides two well respected Senators said it better than I could...it seems that Senator Rick Santorum delivered a body blow to Da$$hole today when he said "I think Sen. Daschle clearly articulated the French position" with Senator Tom Delay finishing him off by delivering a jaw shattering uppercut Da$$hole telling him "Fermez la bouche, Monsieur Daschle!" (French for "Shut your mouth Daschle!")

Also, Da$$hole is not alone in the "Hypocrisy Club for Democrats", Senator Robert "KKK" Byrd who has joined Daschle in not only opposing Bush regarding military action in Iraq, but also screeching (often for hours) on Senate Floor that President Bush was "a bully ready to draw both guns and start shooting immediately" and went on to say "perhaps the White House has the answers to the questions people are asking about why we may soon send our sons and daughters to fight and perhaps die in the sands of the Middle East".

However just like Mr. Da$$hole, Sen. Robert Byrd (DemocRAT and former Grand Kleagal of the KKK) sung a different tune in 1998 when Slick Willie (Clinton) was President.

Robert "KKK" Byrd said "The U.S. should strike, strike hard and strike decisively. In this instance, the administration needs to act sooner rather than later" .

I will say one thing about Democrats, they are certainly consistent...consistently lying hypocrites.

I just hope that more and more Dashcle supporters and democrats in general begin to notice how partisan these attacks are.

If they would only notice that the politicians they are electing would rather stoop to partisan attacks than take just stands in which they believe and lead people in the course of action that they believe is the right course.

Daschle just doesn't get it, but I hope his constituency does and quits electing him to anything.

I think the Dim-Wit-Crats have finally crossed a line. I can't wait for the crash-n-burn that awaits them in 2004.

My email today Senator Dasshole today:

Senator Daschle-
I had thought that my opinion of you could not be dropped any lower than it was after your previous ill-informed tirades, your complete and total obstruction of any action taken by MY President, and your hypocritical actions- saying one thing for the DC crowd and another back here in South Dakota. I was wrong.

Your disgusting attack on MY President yesterday, just as our troops are preparing to engage the enemy, was one of the worst things I have ever witnessed.

the diplomacy failed because of the French, and all responsibility for this war sits in the lap of Saddam Hussein. This war is not something that we rushed into- how can you say that 12 years worth of last chances is failed diplomacy on the part of the US?

Perhaps if your idol, Mr. Clinton, had been more interested in taking care of the problems that were present when he was in the office (instead of lobbing a few missiles when he needed to distract the country from his reprehensible behavior) Mr. Bush would not have this mess to deal with. If I recall correctly, you fully supported that approach when it was used.

In the future, please stand aside and let the adults do what they need to do. If you must whine, do so in private so that you quit causing the fine people of our state to be ashamed of their Senator.

Sincerely,
Joshua M. Kolakowski

email response that I recieved:

Dear Joshua:

Thank you for contacting me about my comments regarding President Bush's handling of the situation in Iraq. I appreciate your input on this matter.

First, let me say that, like all Americans, I strongly support our troops. I will work with the President and my colleagues in Congress to make sure they have the resources and tools they need to accomplish their mission.

Second, Saddam Hussein is a threat to his own people, the region, and the world, and the United States cannot tolerate the possession and development of weapons of mass destruction by his regime. There has never been a debate about the need to confront Saddam and the threat he poses. I have always made clear that he is a serious threat and have supported the use of force should it be necessary to disarm him.

In my view, this has been a debate about how best to confront that threat - at the least risk to our soldiers and the least burden to America's taxpayers. This situation - where Saddam poses a threat to us and our friends - demanded vigorous diplomacy and coalition-building at the highest levels of this Administration - the kind of effort we saw in 1990 by President Bush's father and his Administration. The results in 1990 were very clear - more than 16 countries contributed more than 200,000 ground troops, and our friends and allies covered 90% of the costs.

Unfortunately, we did not have that kind of effort here and did not get a similar result. Nevertheless, I am confident our troops will make us all proud, and I stand ready to do whatever is necessary to help them accomplish their mission swiftly and safely so they may return home soon.

Once again, I appreciate hearing from you, and I hope we you will stay in touch.

Sincerely,

Tom Daschle
United States Senate

(Hey Tom- we have the backing of 30 countries with the private support of 13 more!)

Have written to everyone I know to write to today about this. Read Daschle's comments in '98 after Clinton passed the Iraqi Liberation Act which endorsed regime change. Daschle: "Look, we have exhausted virtually all our diplomatic effort to get the Iraqis to comply with their own agreements and with international law. Given that, what other option is there but to force them to do so? The answer is, we don't have another option. We have got to force them to comply, and we are doing so militarily."

And what is Daschle saying nowDaschle says that he’s “.. saddened that this president failed so miserably at diplomacy that we’re now forced to go to war.” Wow, that’s quite a switch from his Clinton era pronouncements, isn’t it? Daschle goes even further. He is getting on the bandwagon early to lay the blame squarely at the feet of George Bush for any fatalities American troops may suffer. Daschle doesn’t blame Hussein for failing to live up to his agreement to disarm. He blames Bush for responding to Hussein’s failures and threats.

Awesome E-mail.

I want to get my hand on an audio (or even better a video) file of Senator Tom Delay telling Da$$hole to "Fermez la bouche, Monsieur Daschle!"

SUPPORT OUR TROOPS!

In his reply to you he STILL blames W.. "We haven't had that kind of effort here..."

I don't think he realizes how idiotic he sounds. I think he really thinks he is hitting some deep blows and being clever.

Gads... democrats. How embarassing it must be to be one.
