Didn't mean to sound like everyone on the West side was like that. I know there are many good conservatives on the West side of the mountains. Unfortunately though, it's because of the liberals that live in the Metro areas that we have Lock for a Governor, Patty "Bin laden mamma" and Maria "won't take outside $$$ unless I need it" Cantwell as Senators.
Keep up the good fight and maybe we can make a change for the better!!!

You are right -
Seattle keeps Washington red
Portland and Eugene keep Oregon red.

Back in the early '80's, every now and then I had to deal with this one security guard who always had to bring out his big boom box on our Minuteman Missile maintenance dispatches and play the most god-awful rap shiite. His critiques on the style and talent of the various artists of the time was laughable. I don't care who listens to it. Rap is Crap without the "C". BufordP, MSgt USAF (Ret) And of course, that's your right to view it as you see fit.
My only comment was with the implied analogy of:
Country Western == Good, Patriotic, Repub
Gangsta Rap == Bad, Democrap
I don't think so. I think BOTH musical styles suck, but that's this man's opinion. I just don't think a person's musical tastes necessarily indicate political direction.

"Money for schools, not for war"????? Listen kid, you'd learn more by enlisting than you ever would in a public school....

I really think that its past time for ordinary citizens to band together, bats in hand, to beat the snot out of these useless punks. Stating their message is acceptable; blocking roads and doorways, vandalizing others' property, and all of the other tactics they use are not. Fight fire with fire, for cryin' out loud.
I've said it on other threads and I'll say it here - you don't see these kinds of protests in areas where the second amendment is respected.

The Officers wear sidearms. Let them use them. There is absolutely no excuse for an Officer being down.
Let them shoot the bastards.
ABsolutely!! Officer down and being beaten means time to shoot. Its legal and proper, even for an ordinary citizen to use lethal force to save the life of another. Its probably "superlegal" to do so for an officer.

Disgusting vermin. BTW SHAME on Greg Nichols for allowing these protestors to shut down Seattle streets AGAIN! After one stepped into traffic, the cops should have been all over them! Can you imagine if WE did this. They'd probably have called out Godzilla to round us up!
