The pathetic, doddering old brain impaired personage is soiling his image long-term. Too bad he does not understand how history will treat his august person after this bilge out of his spirit.

He's a friend of Bill Clinton (and his legacy of death).
So much for Cronkites pro-American credibility.

Eat quiche and die, Walter. You've done more than enough damage to America already. And that's the way it is.

....and Walter Cronkite is grossly irrelevant.

He needs to just go away. Fade into history. He is now nothing more than a "useful idiot".

He is worse than a liberal. He is an internationalist who believes in compromising American sovereignty for the pipe-dream of "world government."

Exactly. This is not an old age, brain failing aberration for Walter. He's been working well over 50 years to undermine our country and its ideals from the inside. It's just that his mask worked better when the evil ones had a monopoly on information.

This anti-American SoS is seeing the successful efforts of his lifetime crumble away to nothing. He had a great ride for way too long, but now he'll end his days a bitter old failure. Rest in disgrace, Walty.

Don't forget the children's jail where kids who wouldn't join the Saddam Youth Brigade were kept, some as long as five years!

Just more Anti-American words from a has been liberal who laments that the (used ta be big) three news networks, can no longer influence the vast majority of thinking Americans. Maybe he should head over to Al-jazera(sp?) or CNN, he would at least be among his friends and peers.

The 86-year-old said the proliferation of cable news channels has advantages, but has harmed CBS, ABC and NBC.

Yes, advantages for the public in that there are alternatives to the leftist-schills who pose as "newsmen".

If Cronkite showed up in Baghdad, I think his welcome by the free people would include a party with a rope.
