There is a sub-set of lunatic loons who appear to wish the end of American society as we know it. Like the Nazis and the communists in Weimar Germany, they have a great deal in common as ... potential destroyers --- of the social fabric.

I have engaged in several debates in the last few days, and I admire FreeRepublic as a forum for the free expression of ideas, but the overwhelming presence of this bunch of loons is very off-putting.

Lenin is supposed to have said that capitalists would sell him the rope by which they were to be hung. The “anarcho-loons” on this forum would not bother to sell the rope but provide it as a public service.

Re-reading this older thread...Found many here that were very "at ease" with the school hammering this teacher with "the rules are the rules"..yada..Find it interesting how many would like to protect the intolerant. Which is all this really boils down to. Some folks are intolerant toward seeing a cross. Let's make a law/rule..blah blah...This sociecty is catering to the special interests, trying to define every little piece of life yet apply it to the masses.

Hope she wins her lawsuit, and wins it big.

Ok, so now you're changing the subject all together. Now you're saying that nobody has the right to wear anything they want, especially in a "right-to-work" state. What does that have to do with anything? 1st of all, all she was doing, was wearing a necklace. She wasn't trying to shove her beliefs down anyone's throat. Secondly, Jesus says, "If you deny me before men, I will deny you before my father." Last, if people would worry more about what's being taught in the classroom, than what people where wearing, we'd all be a lot better off!
