Throughout high school I had these type of jobs. Now the kids can't get them. Granted some kids may not want these type of jobs, but many do.Their discussing this now on the westcoast blowtorch station, KFI 640. It reminded me of your thread. There talking about how literally hundreds of thousands of jobs that used to be held by our young people have been taken by illegals, that are willing to work for near nothing, and won't complain about working conditions, or ask for raises etc, etc.

Yep, they are standing by, waiting for your call (sarcasm). With the exception of Representative Tancredo (Repub from CO) the Republicans are ecstatic about the cheap labor and the possibility of a few votes.Tancredo has a guestworker plan also. Do you agree with a guestworker plan?

My mother and father were immigrants to this country. My mother way more recent, in fact my mother came here as guest worker putting labels on soup cans in the 1960s. Now that she's a citizen, she asked me if she could write in Pat Buchanan as a protest vote *LOL*

Doesn't that make them virtual illegal aliens since the law is not treated as a law?

For all the money its costing I would have guessed that Houston light rail had some fancy stations. From the looks of the pictures I guess I was wrong.
