Clinton was really being impeached for the thousands of other facts known which the spineless republicans had not the stomach for bringing forth out of fear for their own hides over their similar acts.

As John Adams and the Gipper used to say, facts are stubborn things. Clinton lied under oath to a federal judge in a sexual harrassment lawsuit and compounded his lie before a federal grand jury, for which he was impeached, held in contempt of court, lost his license to practice law and had to pay $700,000 to settle the lawsuit. We must repeat those facts at every opportunity.

I am mystified that she didn't see the irony of a lawsuit for sexual harassment that was based on something Bill signed into law. I am pretty PO'd that the Republicans did not hammer Bill into repealing it...ever.

There has got to be some way to put this erroneous information down the tubes once and for all. This is getting ridiculous - I'm hearing people repeating what Hitlery said about the "right-wing bending the Constitution to impeach x42 for adultry" [paraphrase].

There was even more irony. The feminists and liberal courts were holding that a single act of harassment could create a hostile environment and constitute sexual harassment, but the Eighth Circuit adhered to the more conservative rule that a multiple act pattern had to be proven. The only reason Clinton got the lawsuit thrown out of court was because conservative judges, the kind Hillary is filibustering, heard his case. And if he hadn't lied under oath he wouldn't have had to pay a dime to settle the case after Jones asked it be reinstated.
