Oh, no. Now I am going to worry until I know everyone has safely gotten where they are going. Let us know, okay?
I tried crossing my fingers for you two, but it made typing very difficult. LOL.
Seriously, I hope your storm tonight passes quickly and everyone comes through okay.
You're in Texas, aren't you? Are you having bad storms too? Both Meekie and ladtx say it is storming where they are.
You surely don't, missy! Wolves bring 'good luck' to the ladies that kiss one (wolfie, that is) ....they turn into a *Princess*. : )
And if you LIE about a wolf you'll turn into a 'frog' within twenty minutes.
Anyway, who would want to keep a sweet wolf away?
Especially not OUR sweet wolf. :-)
(((((((((((((louie))))))))))))))))
You just saved yourself from being known as Miss Froggie. : )
LOL!! Any other superstitions you don't have? ;-)
What a red-letter day! Looks like I squeaked by with another mistakeless post (yes, I KNOW "mistakless" is not a word, LOL). I was holding my breath, preparing to rush into photoshop to fix the errors in my post that I was SURE you would be pointing out. Guess you didn't find any. Yippee!!
Happy Friday, Thin Man. :-)
You sound like a proud Mama.....as you should. Congratulations on your son's graduation. Brings back memories of our trip to Orlando for my son's graduation from Navy boot camp. He was a nuclear machinist mate.....I guess you could say he was a 'reactor mechanic'. :-)
Great! Now, have her stay put until the storms pass. :-)
What you won't do to get your hugs and smoooochies! LOL!!
Here you go.....
Not so fast! I didn't want mention this because it could be quite embarrassing. If you look closely at your clock, for a reason unknown, the "1" is missing. Shocking oversight! Nothing gets by these eagle eyes. LOL!
Dang! What would we do without your eagle eye? Bless you for keeping us hostesses humble as you nudge us toward perfection, ever so slowly.........LOL! It's a lost cause with me, that's for sure. ;-)
Always have loved the Wonder-tune, though...) and, I've been hiking in the Superstition Mountains but only found Fool's Gold, which is good enough for me (a pun for the Belles...)))
Nice to see your byline today, Mrs. Bear...very elegant thread, and delightful...thank you.
I wasn't even hip to it it bein' Black Friday so I started out on the wrong foot this morning...chores and a little Mac freeze make me late to the Cafe for a cup of good coffee...and I know I'm in trouble with Billie...again.
I'm telling ya, I'm just plain bad luck...hey, that's a superstition...)
I could blame it on Friday the 13th, but, as they say, the luck stops here.
OK, I'm ready now for the rest of the day...gonna turn bad luck good.
Wishing all Freepers a very fortunate Friday.
Well, you've come to the right place. I will keep you in my prayers. How frightening to be given that kind of diagnosis!
Try to stay calm.....I would imagine that getting stressed and worked up just makes it worse, but I would also imagine it is impossible NOT to react that way.
God bless you, also, Chris. We worry about our friends, so please keep us informed about how you are doing.
((((((((((LadyShallott))))))))))
I'm in trouble with Billie too, LOL!
I snuck out early and to top it off with, I "played hookie" from work today! HEE! HEE!
Are those really called the Superstition Mountains? Where are they? Leave it to our creative and clever jw to find something appropriate and pertinent to post. You always do. :-)
And, you always remember to compliment us on our threads. Thank you so much. I hope everyone is enjoying this silly look at superstitions today.
gonna turn bad luck good.
Excellent! I like a man with a positive attitude. :-)
I left rather upbruptly this morning after reading about whoever, that shocked me and I had to get away from here for a while. I'm okay now. I just didn't know how ill she was.
