thanks for the ping, Howlin'

I can't wait to see the WMD info which we all know is just a matter of time. We've already got prohibited delivery systems (rockets), multiple mobile bio-weapons labs and nuclear centrifuges and manuals buried in nuke scientists back yard---

The Rewards of Boldness

Bush and the art of Rope-a-Dope

"Somehow, Bush managed, once again, to do exactly what his critics wanted him to and defeat them entirely in the process."...This tactic has come to be known, by critics and admirers alike, as the "rope-a-dope" strategy...

Do you KNOW these things are true, or are you HOPING these things will happen?

Don't ask the hard questions...... Gives people headaches. I'm still not sure how things are carried out around the WhiteHouse with all these people that have such close contacts and know everything. I'm not sure there is room for all the hired help to gather and do their jobs... but tomorrow is another workday....

Rice said: "The British have reasons, because of the arrangements that they made, apparently, in receiving those sources, that they cannot share them with us. We have every reason to believe that the British services are quite reliable."

Why do I have a feeling that somehow either France, Germany or Russia is involved and the revelation is not made so as not to create a world class political embarrasment.

These people are America-hating traitors! They don't care a big rat's ass that they are/were wrong, they'll simply lie again, this time about what they said the first time and move on to some other terrible thing GWB has done.

You are right and you are correct. Bush will never will them over .. but they are only 25-30% of the public .. and what WILL happen is the middle of the road voters .. the average joe american will start to see how filled with hate they really are.

And the average joe american will not like what they see .. it's about opening people's eye

Zactly, they will not apologize. Their attacks will take a different form, yet, they will not relent. IMO, this is their weakness.

The only option that the Democrats have is to be and act shrill.

They have no new ideas, so they have to attack us to distract from their shortcomings.

Come on, we've heard them rant about enviro-nonsense since before they banned DDT and condemned us all to West Nile Virus, among other such plagues.

We've heard them rant about their pro-abortion views since before they won their Roe v Wade case.

We've heard them rant about Global Cooling in the 1970's and Global Warming in the 1990's, ignoring that we just had the coolest Spring in America's history this year, too.

We've heard them rant about nationalizing our entire medical industry since before Hillary trouted out her nationalization plan for Bill.

We heard them claim that Florida would become a battleground littered in bodies if the state legalized Concealed Carry Weapons. Instead, crime went down.

Let's face it, everything that the Democrats are talking about in regard to their own ideas has been long-since discredited by time and experience.

Where are their new ideas?

Well, they don't have any new ideas.

So they scream and yell at us to distract from their own shortcomings. It's all that they know how to do.

"The democrats and their lapdogs in the media, always a week or two behind this President, are still trying to prevent GWB from getting any air time for his great victories with Blacks in Africa"

So when do we get to hear Pres. Bush's magnificent slavery speech or see the great pictures from Africa? I watched all the Sunday a.m. shows--NOTHING, not even a short clip from Fox. If it weren't for FR and the Dose, I wouldn't even know he was in Africa (I can't get cable).

"***Democrats Are About To See Trap They set for GWB Close On Themselves***"

We MUST remember the Democrat Bush-haters are the same people telling us that:

- the war was going to cost $100 billion - it didn't

- there would be thousands of our soldiers dead - thank god there weren't!

- there would be "ecological disaster" when hundreds of oil wells burned - they didn't!

- The Iraqi people would fight us - they're NOT! The hitmen and assassins, it is agreed, are being imported in a concerted effort.

- massive looting of Iraqi national treasures was a bogus claim, they are currently missing something like 15 and most of that was due to breakage in the confusion following the fall of the city.

- thousands of civilians would die - they have, indeed, but not by US soldiers. Saddam has killed HUNDREDS of THOUSANDS of Iraqis and more mass graves are opened each day by our soldiers, along with Iraqis who are coming forward and speaking out!

- that our actions were "UNILATERAL". They're NOT. Currently over 40 nations are helping out!

- ...and, finally, my personal favorite, that weapons of mass destruction would be used on our soldiers........and what is it they are arguing now???? They want to know WHERE the weapons are, when THEY were the ones who brought it up in the first place! (along with Saddam, himself....didn't he threaten to use WMD, in some propaganda spot on Iraqi TV, pre-US invasion??? I think so.)

The Bush-Haters are idiots, they always shoot themselves in the foot, the press ignores it and they're so stupid they set themselves up for more of the same!!!!

LOL! They can't get past their whines of "Bush is an idiot" and "He stole the election" to realize that the chunk of ice their standing on has broken off and is heading for the waterfall.

"NSA Dir. Rice"

Just for the record, Ms. Rice is National Security Advisor.

"NSA Dir." (DIRNSA) is something else entirely.

And I do not think this story, even if all and the worst things the Dems say is true, has much traction with the American people. Because, suppose we look at it from their angle, are they arguing, after all the terrible things that have come out about Saddam, and that are not disputed by anyone, that leaving him there would have been a good thing.

Over on the Sunday Talk Show thread I posted a lengthy excerpt from George Tenet's statement, where he says:

An unclassified CIA white paper in October made no mention of the issue, again because it was not fundamental to the judgment that Iraq was reconstituting its nuclear weapons program, and because we had questions about some of the reporting. For the same reasons, the subject was not included in many public speeches, congressional testimony and the Secretary of State's United Nations presentation in early 2003.

Freeper cwboelter then made an excellent point:

This little statement is important, too, as Democrats have been implying that Bush's so-called lie was the "only" reason they supported the war. The Congress approved the use of force resolution back in October of 2002. In none of Bush's "congressional" speeches or public statements prior to the SOTU did Bush mention this African/Uranium connection. Neither did Powell in his presentation to the UN Security Council. And yet Democrats are acting as if this speech made in January of 2003 was thier sole vindication for this war. They've gone as far as running ads saying that Bush lied to get us into war. They are pathetic liars.

Because you have no perception?

Your WalMart statement reminded me of something else.

San Antonio (where I live) is also getting a brand new Toyota truck assembly plant. The place should directly employ over 5000(!) people, pay an average salary in excess of $50k(!) and generate nearly 7500 spinoff jobs that will be relatively high paying.

Bad economy?

Sure, right.

That bad economy must be the reason that Toyota's investing hundreds of millions of dollars into my city.

That day the news will be so over powering that even the lapdogs will turn on their dimwit masters to protect their own credibility, and start asking why we were lead to believe that the democrats were right telling them WMD wouldn't be found, (you see, behind the scenes the dimwits have had to swear that these weapons wouldn't be found to get the media to go along)

Aren't the Democrats simply saying that no WMD have been found, and therefore, where is the justification for the war?

The revelation will be an awakening, but not that big a deal. Therefore, to gain the maximum benefit of the revelation, I think the timing will be closer to the political season of 2004.

I think they need to bring out the major evidence now, then parcel out all the other bits, thru August of next year. If they wait to un-load it for a political advantage, it will be seen as just that, and the Democrats will have some justification in yelling that Bush held all this stuff back for a year when we could have been trying miscreants for war crimes...yada yada yada! He needs to unload it now, then parcel it out as he has varification of new data!

Just concentrate on the part where Christ suffered for our sins, so that men could be brought up to God's level as you find you way back to God. God indeed has no desire to be punitive but to be merciful. Mercy implies that justice and penalty also exist, but that HIS blood was the price of God's justice and the amelioration of our just due penalties for our sins.
