A "Rap Gangwar", that would make my day. After the dust settles, none left. For the life of me, I don't understand what this generation gets out of this noise.

Do I detect a theme to your posts?
How about drinking fountains? When did you choose to quit using public ones?

Hon, I don't recall musical groups and their production companies et al being routinely involved in murder per se in popular music prior to the advent of hip-hop.
suburban thuggishness is more posuer and a "phase" as well...regardless of color or ethnicity.
The roots of American wordspeak "music" from Bob Dylan to Gil Scott Heron and the Last Poets never partook in murder or drug dealing or racketeering to my knowledge and I can only assume that they also had better home decorating tastes as well...lol
USA Hip-Hop(as we know it) which arguably originated in the NYC environs comes directly from Jamaican "dancehall" DJ and Sound System rivalries and had a history of drug and political violence even before reaching our shores between the JLP and PNP and rival drug gangs who financed their endeavors....you are probably too young to recall the rash of killings at Brooklyn Jamaican dancehall competitions in the early 80s which were directly tied to drug and political rivalries back home on the island.
with all due respect ...

My morning already sucks. One of my stupid-ass beagles killed two of my prize Guineas.
They used to follow me around like puppies.
I never thought I could get so attached to stupid, pea brained birds.

Very few dogs or cats will refrain from killing things they can simply.
Sorry....I hope he/she at least ate them.

Imagine being a Rap star, and then taken out by a .45?
Almost poetic justice.
Wasn't Marvin Gaye killed by a .45?

Eminem is from the ghetto, not the suburbs.

Our Chesapeake Retriever once killed one of our chickens.
We ate the chicken.

I think the rake over her head gave her indigestion.
I have over 10 dogs that sleep with the Guineas.
My beagles are generally penned up.
Well, I forgot to plug in the hot wire around their fence last night and she got out.
I blame rap music for my dog's behavior.

Tie the chicken to the neck of the dog for an entire day.
That usually stops chicken killing.

Exactly. Eminem has called his mother a druggie, and I once read in an interview where Eminem called himself short.

Ja rule is a punk who can't rap - that's a fact. Eminem is a kid who grew up on the streets and didn't quit following his dreams in order to get where he's at now. I respect the man. All these "Ja rule" idiots need to be rounded up

My doberman will try to kill anything that is not family. He is always on T-Rex mode. He once dismounted a bitch to attack a kittycat.

Me and my Posse can't stand Ja rule.
I never liked his dancing on the Lawrence Welk show either.

I'm familiar myself with "lamestream" suburb culture, but i'm also familiar with ghetto thug culture. The worst parts of suburb culture are no where near as destructive to society. Basically, with the lamestream, you have a few idiots dropping off to drugs and kids who misbehaved badly growing up becoming quite successful
