The next paragraph of the article read:
"There are also sneakier ones I remember from tongue-clicking types in my childhood. 'You know, it's amazing that even though she had that baby seven months after they got married, bless heart, it weighed ten pounds.'"
For FR flaming purposes, we could just shorten it to "BHH". :)

If you run your car into a ditch, don't panic. Four men in a four-wheel drive pickup truck with a tow chain will be along shortly. Don't try to help them; just stay out of their way. This is what they live for. This actually happend to me in Arkansas. I spun out on an icy interstate into the ravine separating the opposite lanes. I was stuck and couldn't get the car to budge. Within a few minutes two local men weighing at least 250lb each came over and tapped on my frosty side window. They told me to sit tight. They proceeded to lift the car up from the back and then push it to the interstate shoulder. They asked me to start the car and check if it was running ok. I did and as I rolled down the window to thank them, they were already gone.
Will never forget it.

In high school we'd drive up and down the beach in a truck with chains, looking to pull people out of the water when they got stuck on an incoming tide, or when they got stuck in the sand.
