Men and women of our Armed Forces are overseas still fighting those who committed the atrocities of September 11 in Afghanistan and the remnants of the terrorist-supporting regime of Saddam Hussein in Iraq. The 54 year-old Springsteen's politics are stuck in a 60's quagmire. He may not be able to tell the difference between LBJ and George W. Bush. But those of us who understand the stakes America is fighting for now and how we are taking the fight to the enemy instead of our home turf understand that this is a fight we cannot, dare not lose.

that sucks!

He also told his audience to buy Al Franken's book.
He did a concert in NY that was blatantly against the police about a year ago.
The man ought to be ashamed of himself.

Springsteen touted liberal comedian Al Franken's new book and encouraged people to read itWhy read a book about liars that is written by a man who lied to the Attorney General in a letter written on Ivy League School stationery?

Never saw Bruce Springsteen, in concert, or on TV, or anywhere else.
But, we went to a great Ft. Worth Opera production last night, of "RIGOLETTO."
No politics.

Just who in the hell does he think he is? He is a pathetic, liberal scumbag, but he is still protected by the 1st amendment.

During the 80s, I like to listen to Bruce Stringbean. I never understood the cult status he was given, but I enjoyed his music. Then, he went steadily downhill. Now, he has reached the bottom. So long, Bruce, you've officially lost a quasi-fan.
