Of course, I would not be happier if Saddam was back in power. Your point is?
Now, that I have directly answered your question, please answer mine. For the sake of consistency, do you favor the U.S. troops in the Congo and Zimbabwee to remove dictors in those countries and restore a unified/democratic nation state? Tit for tat please.

I don't "know" except by virtue of the fact that we do not have him, nor Omar nor Bin Laden.
You may be 100% right that folk are coming forward. But they must be leaving a note as to where they are going for the info to be so cold by the time we arrive.

"Of course, I would not be happier if Saddam was back in power. Your point is?"Just checking. Glad we got that straight.
"do you favor the U.S. troops in the Congo and Zimbabwee to remove dictors in those countries and restore a unified/democratic nation state?"
Only if there appears to be a threat (or foreseeable future threat) to our own national well-being.

Does this mean that you are "happy" that Mugabe and the leaders of the Congo are in the power? I suspect that you regard this as a strange and odd question. Now, you know how I feel for having to both with it!
To: MEGoody
that's having to deal with it

No, it means we have limited resources and must make decisions on how to use them. They are not the threat that Saddam was.
"Strange question? Perhaps. But I answered it none the less.
