I think white males are discovering that competition isn't what they thought it was...they might lose.

The logical conclusion of this statement is that no competition exists among men, only some fake competition (to entice women?).

That most men simply lay down positions to other men - in some sort of collective. That only when women who are outside this collective enter the scene suddenly real (not fake) competition occurs.

The more I read of you the more I wonder what position in life you really have.

Translation: Woman are more amenable to being cooped up in sterile offices under florescent lights, breathing dead filtered air that may or may not have mold and other contamination. I compare them to battery hens content to lay eggs.

The problem with so many of these surveys is that they treat all college degrees as if they were the same. They aren't. So there are more women in college than men. Who cares? Huge numbers of women major in total BS liberal arts subjects, like sociology, anthropology, psychology, social work (yes, that is not just a major, but an actual school unto itself, on the same level as engineering or business) and the granddaddy of all BS, women's studies. Walmart has plenty of openings, so the economy will support these women, but they won't earn as much as people with real degrees, and NOW will continue to claim oppression. Here at the University of Texas, and at several other major universities whose demographic stats I have seen, men completely dominate enrollment in degrees like natural sciences, mathematics, and engineering, and have a smaller majority in law, pre-med, and business. The only halfway decent degrees women have more enrollment in are education and nursing. As long as these trends continue, men will continue to out-earn (on average) women in the workplace.

Plus, take into account a man's natural aggressiveness put into pursuits other than the physical like scientific research, music, cooking, business, art, engineering, politics, etc., men will still be the movers and shakers of the world for good or ill. Heck, even gay guys are showing themselves to be better than women at fashion design and decorating.
