I think I was watching Threat Matrix when "Rummy" was on ... what did Darrell Hammond say?

I am very happy that Tony Shaloub won ... what a touching tribute to his nephew and love to his family.

I don't get HBO, so I've never seen the Sopranos.

The first four seasons are on DVD.

Did hysterical blindness win anything?

Ben Gazarra won for Best Actor (he was not there to accept) and I think, but am not sure, that Gina Rowlands won Best Actress...

Thanks for the thread, HLL. Look forward to the Oscars which are not tape delayed for different time zones!

I was disappointed that West Wing won over the Sopranos and really missed the Law and Order show not being nominated. Thrilled about Raymond winning.

Here's a switch: I think I will watch more t.v. this season-I feel out of touch having never seen Monk, Will and Grace and several others, lol.<P

Monk is on Friday nights on USA. I highly recommend it. The writing is fantastic and very clever. I am so glad that Shalhoub won.

Everyone loves Raymond

Except me.

Actually, I do like it. I was just looking to use that line. :-)

"We have never watched "The Sopranos", "Sex in the City", "Friends", or "Everybody Loves Raymond"."

Everybody Loves Raymond is pretty funny sometimes, and basically a pretty clean, wholesome show.

I watched one Friends and vowed never again to watch such a mindless, witless show with such an appalling, dull-witted cast and writing.

Sex in the City...well, by its very title it told me it would be the kind of tasteless, vulgar dreck that passes for comedy in Post-Christian America.

Soprano's has actually had a few good scenes, but a very close friend is a Sicilian from Bensonhurst, so I almost enjoy watching it for its Paisano/Cugino ambience as anything else.

Any photos of Jeri Ryan (of "Boston Public" and "Star Trek: Voyager" fame)?

Monk is a great show. Tony Shalhoub is excellent. I highly recommend the show.

I *love* it that Tony Shaloub won. And his acceptance speech was very, very touching.

There were some on Yahoo's News section - Emmy's Full Coverage. She was quite fetching.
