He hasn't been making public appearences for three days. Arnold and beige Davis are all over the state.
Also, these ads were paid for with the illegal indian contributions. The court ordered him to try to cancel the ads, but most of the networks wouldn't do it, so the ads are running.

Grey Davis....... Let him twist in the wind. He's going batty since all he knows about is getting paid by the gubbermint. Spent all his (power mad) working life in the government employ.
Why, he may even have to look for work in the dreaded private sector.

Actually, California has had a Hispanic Governor, in the 1870's, and the guy was a REPUBLICAN! There was a big article in the Orange County Register about him. He also served in the California Senate and the U. S. House of Reps. I would go dig the paper out of the trash and give yopu his name, but I couldn't do it without waking up the Mister.

He'll collect his state pension. At his age unemployment is not a concern and besides if that's not enough he can hit the rubber chicken circuit to rake in more moolah.

Every tribe that has gambling casinos employed RAT lawyers to guide them through the political process of payoffs, bribes, campaign contributions

This is what the MEChA Constitution says (Article II, section 1): "General membership shall consist of any student who accepts, believes and works for the goals and objectives of MEChA, including the liberation of AZTLAN, meaning self-determination of our people in this occupied state and the physical liberation of our land."
From ">"El Plan de Aztlan": In the spirit of a new people that is conscious not only of its proud historical heritage but also of the brutal "gringo" invasion of our territories, we, the Chicano inhabitants and civilizers of the northern land of Aztlan from whence came our forefathers, reclaiming the land of their birth and consecrating the determination of our people of the sun, declare that the call of our blood is our power, our responsibility, and our inevitable destiny.
From the Hoover Institute:
Thus Rodolfo Acuña's Occupied America claims the Southwest for Mexicans. Chicano activists (Chicanismo) push not only for civil rights for illegal Mexicans but also for the return (reconquista) of the lost provinces to form Aztlán. Chicanismo demands Spanish language and culture education, not English or American cultural schooling. The Movimiento Estudiante Chicano de Aztlán (MECHA) in 1970 formed a political party, La Raza Unida, won control of Crystal City, Texas, and tried to make it into a Chicano city. The party split and has had little political impact since but could easily revive in California or Texas.

This is the flag of Aztlan. It shows up quite frequently at anti-illegal immigration rallies at the Federal Building in Westwood, California.
Does anyone have any questions why I despise the idea of Cruz Bustamante becoming the governor of California?
To: DoughtyOne
Thanks Doughty....Cruz must Luze...and he will. :)

Knowing this should increase a conservative's Pucker Factor about just how bad a Bustamante governorship might be. You got that right. I am getting ready to bail out on CA.
I hear Tulsa is a prety nice place if you don't have kids in school.

I found him. California's first Hispanic Governor (after California became a state) was Romualdo Pacheco, in 1875. Like all good hispanics, he was a Republican.

"...California's first Hispanic governor."Romualdo Pacheco (R) became the first (and only) Hispanic Governor of the state of California in 1875. There's a street named after him in San Francisco.
