If Paul is preaching the Law of Moses to the Gentiles, why were the Jews so upset and opposed the things spoken by Paul Acts 13:45. You need to learn to read the entire context and quit cherry picking the scriptures.
You also would be better served by spending less time smirking and more time reading.
They were Jealous ("Notice"....when they saw the multitudes....and heaven forbid, meeting on the Sabbath) and upset that Paul was teaching stuff like this.
Why do you think Paul was teaching here from the Law and the prophets? Acts 28:23
I don't cherry pick...by the way. You need to understand that the Old Covenant did not include the Ten Commandments.
The covenant which God gave to Moses begins with Ex 19:5. The Ten Commandments are found in Ex 20:1. The Ten Commandments are most certainly a part of the Old Covenant.
...and upset that Paul was teaching stuff like this.
Paul was teaching "the grace of God" Acts 13:43 As a result of the Jeswish opposition to his teaching he washed his hands of them (Acts13:47). Your link is to a scripture in Hebrews. No one knows who wrote Hebrews but it is very doubtful that it was Paul. (see Heb 2:3) What Paul preached he received through direct revelation from God. The Hebrew writer on the other hand was teaching things that "were confirmed to him by those who heard Him (Jesus).
Why do you think Paul was teaching here from the Law and the prophets? Acts 28:23
Paul was teaching that Jesus was the Messiah and using the prophecies from the law and the prophets to prove it. He was not teaching the Law of Moses. You continue to ignore context.
You are bent on teaching error and frankly I am growing weary of constantly showing where you are wrong. I think that the time has come to shake the dust off of my sandals.
The Commandments pre dated Sinai....Abraham, Isaac, Jacob and Joseph all obeyed the Commandments. You are bent on teaching error and frankly I am growing weary of constantly showing where you are wrong. I think that the time has come to shake the dust off of my sandals.
This is very simple to do.....simply quit responding to my posts.
This is how my sandals feel when debating you, Tenn!
I believe that the Sabbath has very much been corrupted. I do not think going to church once a week was what the Sabbath was or is suppose to be. Something is greatly missing. While Friday night has now become a very special night for the children and myself we still do not know what was done for the rest of the Sabbath.
