Personally, when I witness to people, I don't tell them anything about their hobbies.

I just tell them about Jesus.

If they get saved, Jesus will take the reigns of their hearts and lead them to living for Him instead of living like the world.

Actually, as a 180 lb. guy training for a marathon, I'm still pretty sober as long as I keep it at 2 drinks an hour. That's roughly what my metabolism can handle.

Ok, well, if you find that's effective, good for you. I find it much more effective to build a relationship with people and show them that being a Christian makes a difference in my life, than to stand on a soapbox and yell "God hates fags" or whatever the slogan du jour is.

His groupies/wife/daughters all wear shorts and tight pants.

That should be your first clue right there that Fred is a fake.

I was referring to the particular style of witness you seem to think will actually reach people, which is to yell at them about what you see as their sins rather than demonstrate their need for a Savior. There's a subtle, yet important, difference in concept and a rather vast difference in execution.

And I've never had a discussion before that made me want to go shopping in my bra but darn it, you've gotten under my skin.
