It's unfair to try to equate race and religion that way. People are born with a race that they have no say in determining. On the other hand, people choose which religion they will practice, and it's reasonable to criticize the choices people make.
Well, then I can see how you think poorly of us. But, didn’t the righteous souls rise up when the veil was torn? Weren’t Elijah and Moses present with Jesus at the Transfiguration? Were they dead, or were the virtuous alive in Christ?
First of all it's not divisive and it's not anti-catholic. It's an article questioning whether Mary should be worshipped or not. It's answer depends on how what is meant by "worship". It's purpose is to edify and educate the saints of God.
That sounds like a no.
If you believe the bible is heretical than so be it.
But it is an excellent way to play The Game.
Since you defined the term and have a better picture of what you meant than obviously whatever conclusion you come up with is correct.
That sounds like another “no.”
Maybe you should stop posting threads about "good ni**ers". I did no such thing.
That sounds like another “no.”
Actually, it states an opinion contrary to a contrived, straw-version of Catholic doctrine.
Define your term and I'll be crystal clear.
The basis of your argument is specious as there is no catholic doctrine or practice that includes “worship” or “veneration” of Mary as part of our faith. Then the very odd argument using the word “blessed” as a description of Mary the mother of Jesus in comparison to an obscure Old Testament woman who commits a violent act, is an overly ambitious desire to use your quotes to spread disunity and hate.
You really are spreading hate and disunity with this garbage you’re pushing. Judging from most of the posts, your attempts have failed.
All of it?
Or just 66 books of it?
No, it's not. Bias that refuses to acknowledge inappropriate and unjustifiable presumptions is bigotry by definition.
For example: We say we don't worship Mary. Y'all refuse to accept that. What if we were Moslems and refused to accept that you worship one God, and insist you worship three gods.
Same thing.
Or weren't you aware "bigotry" encompasses MORE than "racism?"
THE DUCK TEST: If it looks like a duck, swims like a duck, walks like a duck, smells like a duck and quacks like a duck, then... it's A DUCK!
Hey, I did pretty good, considering I was spelunking deep into old and faint memories of useless trivia.
I don't think poorly of you.
But, didnt the righteous souls rise up when the veil was torn?
No, their bodies came out of the graves:
Mat 27:51 And, behold, the veil of the temple was rent in twain from the top to the bottom; and the earth did quake, and the rocks rent;
Mat 27:52 And the graves were opened; and many bodies of the saints which slept arose,
Mat 27:53 And came out of the graves after his resurrection, and went into the holy city, and appeared unto many.
Presumably they died again, and went back to the grave.
Werent Elijah and Moses present with Jesus at the Transfiguration? Were they dead, or were the virtuous alive in Christ?
It was a vision of the future Christ, when he was glorified and was in the kingdom with Elijah and Moses.
Mat 17:1 And after six days Jesus taketh Peter, James, and John his brother, and bringeth them up into a high mountain apart,
Mat 17:2 And was transfigured before them: and his face did shine as the sun, and his raiment was white as the light.
Mat 17:3 And, behold, there appeared unto them Moses and Elijah talking with him.
Mat 17:9 And as they came down from the mountain, Jesus charged them, saying, Tell the vision to no man, until the Son of man be risen again from the dead.
If you look at the greek word translated "vision" it always refers to a supernatural vision, either a waking vision or a dream vision. It didn't happen in our reality, but it can be a prophetic vision.
To believe otherwise is to throw out the biblical teaching that the we are not communicate with the dead.
I believe you have done so.
Your words are harsher than any I've used.
