Nice head. Looks like an accountant caught in a bookkeeping error.

( I would not believe in the Gospel if the authority of the Catholic Church did not move me to do so.)

you may wish to consider what Scripture is. It is what we wrote as an accompanying manual for the teachings of the Church. DING! DING! DING!!!
We have a winner, folks!
The church at Rome wrote the Bible!!!
Such foul hubris knows no limit.
God forgive them.

The OPC does not contain the many and gross errors of the RCC, and therefore it does not call itself “the only true church.”

I suppose you think King James wrote it.

Then you ought to really consider the words of the WCF I do. Every word based on Scripture.
and whether you consider Pope Benedict XVI to be the antiChrist. Well, do you?
You've asked this twice now. Perhaps you think I'm afraid to answer it or something. Nope. My answer is that Ratzinger isn't doing much to dispel the notion.
He does, after all, call himself "another Christ."

The problem for the Catholic apologist is that the words of their own faith betray the errors they believe (which is why these arguments are getting easier for we Bible-believing Christians to assert and clarify Scripturally, yet more difficult for the RCC to refute without resorting to personal attacks, insipid illustrations of bats, and the mocking of Godly men like J. Gresham Machen who knew whom he had believed.)

(MarkBsnr) "you may wish to consider what Scripture is. It is what we wrote as an accompanying manual for the teachings of the Church."
Go easy on him Doctor. He may be a little off on his chronology, and his facts but he has the "accompanying" role right.
Scripture definitely takes a back seat to the Catechism and the Code Of Canon Law. All you need to know is contained in those two volumes plus a few "infallible" pronouncements of the Popes which haven't yet made it into those " Catholic Bibles". Of course you need an army of "experts" to interpret them for you.
It is best to surrender your will and intellect to the Magisterium and simply "go along to get along".

You are a most skilled player of The Game. Quite a talent. You insist on labeling it "a game."
Twice now I have said it's isn't a game.
Play on, Petronski. As for me and mine...
"From the end of the earth will I cry unto thee, when my heart is overwhelmed: lead me to the rock that is higher than I." -- Psalm 61:2
"And did all drink the same spiritual drink: for they drank of that spiritual rock that followed them: and that rock was Christ." -- 1 Corinthians 10:4

You insist on labeling it "a game."No. You are not quoting me, so why do you use quotation marks?
I just finished saying it is not a game, it is "The Game."
Oh, and I am not playing it, I am watching you and others play it. I refuse to cooperate. I actually have the temerity--the unmitigated uppity gall--to insist that I be able to define what I believe, rather than leave it to you and the sneering anti-Catholic chorus.
