“The Knights of Columbus speech comes at a critical time in this election year, especially with Democratic House Speaker Nancy Pelosi once again justifying her advocacy of abortion and same-sex “marriage” while publicly describing herself as a “faithful Catholic,” despite the jarring juxtaposition.”

Nancy Pelosi calls herself a “faithful Catholic” when in fact and deed she is no more than a “cafeteria Catholic.” By that I mean that she picks and chooses which aspects of the religion to follow and disregards the others. Catholics, and for that matter all people of faith need to take a stand and not vote or contribute to any politician who supports abortion rights. Period.

We had three christenings in our parish a couple weeks ago.

Our parish priest implored us to look closely at the life issue this election.

He reminded us all that, we are a people of life

"It is time to stop creating excuses for pro-abortion candidates. Catholics should no longer be asked to be partners in the abortion regime by voting for politicians who support abortion."

I am a reconstructed Southern democrat: a conservative.

I was a member of the Executive Committee of the Colorado
State Democrat Party during the mid seventies and very early eighties.

At that time there was a concerted effort to drive out of the Democrat party
all conservatives: all who believed in life, liberty and the pursuit of happiness.

That was the time frame that the pro-abortion, pro perversion and
anti-family planks were installed in the Democrat Party platform.

There is no such thing as a pro-life Democrat.

If someone says they are pro-life Democrat, they are lying to you.

The Democrat Party is totally given over to the Evil One.

I have aligned myself with the Republicans for the last twenty years.

I have just this year registered as unaffiliated.

The Democrat Party is to be avoided at the cost of your very soul.

Look up the King is coming ! Maranatha !

I keep hoping (and praying) that Kennedy at least will publicly recant his support for abortion . . . one would think that approaching death (as Dr. Johnson said of execution) would "concentrate the mind"!

I did read a few years ago that he was seen attending daily Mass in DC. I can't even imagine what mental contortions he's been using to justify himself. Remember, before Roe v. Wade, it was the Dems who were anti-abortion (Republicans, by and large were pro, led by the Northeast Republicans), and Kennedy was a truly vocal anti-abort!
