So true ,there is a big difference between the devil’s doing and GOD’s will. If we think we can dance to the devil’s tune and then call on GOD to bless us, we are sorely mistaken. GOD WILL butt out, regardless of our wishes.
There are many different Christian Churches. I respect that! I also feel we Christians must fight for our common truths in this election so as to elect a president who truly seeks to put into law that which is in conformity to Christ and the Gospels. Unfortunately many Christian and many Catholic are confused and led astray by the sly rhetoric of many of the speeches. I think it is very important for all Christians to look carefully at the voting records of both candidates. Is not the greatest gift we have, LIFE? Should not the protection of all life be the most important job of the government to uphold and to enforce? Does the government exist to be served or to serve?
This was the point Hawk was making. Catholics are Christians.
The argument that Obama wants to reduce abortion does not track when you consider that Obama has promised to sign the Freedom of Choice Act into law. An act which would no doubt increase the number of abortions. Also it is very likely the next POTUS will be appointing one or more SCOTUS justices. As well as other Federal Judges. How probable is it that he will appoint justices who believe in interpreting the Constitution rather than making new laws out of hidden penumbras?
Another thing to consider is that Planned Parenthood and other death eaters target minority, poor, undereducated women in their propaganda. These are the women we are told over and over again who just can not be “forced” to bear the children they just plain or not equipped to handle. Considering their blood soaked profits do you honestly think these killers are going to stand idly by if someone suggests decreasing their funding to give the dollars to that poor black highschool drop out so that she can keep her baby and rear it in better circumstances. I say hell no.
Abortion is a very big business those who provide it have no more interest in reducing the number of abortions then Heinz has in reducing the number of ketchup users. It is against their self interest.
But more importantly for a Christian is the
millions of innocent souls crying out in anguish to God for the violence done to them. If we can not see the face of Christ in the weakest and most vulnerable of our brothers and sisters. How then can we presume to see it in anyone?
I totally agree with you. But in the article I did make reference to some so-called “Catholics” who are leading astray Catholics. Just as there are so-called “Christians” who are leading astray Christians.
Also I wanted to be very honest right from the start of the article since there are many references to the teachings of the Catholic Church in the article. There are many Catholics being misled, and thus I hoped to enlighten some of them. This article was actually inspired by a well-intentioned email from my cousin.
I hope though that all Christians can unite in this crucial election. The enemy always uses the same old strategy: “Divide and conquer”!
Ahhhh. I’m used to seeing “so-called Catholics” referred to as “CINOs”—you know, like Biden, Granholm, the Kennedy clan, etc.
