The white hooded rats normally sold in the pet stores are great pets. They are intelligent, inquisitive, appreciative, hypo allergenic (!) and wonderful animals that surpass anything in dogdom smaller than a Labrador retriever.

It’s not out of the question, but we’re having a baby in June and don’t intend to get any more pets for a while.
