They are outside of it, as science is dependent upon REPRODUCIBLE evidence. I don’t think God can be compelled to produce a miracle upon demand.

"All Science needs is the “appearance” that our predictions and models are correctly explaining observations."

What you have done here is to prove beyond a shadow of doubt that you do not understand the very concept of science.

If your model fails to answer the well known fact that the universe has expanded in its handling of time, it is nothing but fraud. The fact that the Earth appears very young, while the overall appearance of the universe requires a great expanse of time should set off alarms in your head, if you have understanding. - An Earth that still has deep soil, and is at the early stages of tectonic change, where large continents still exist even though calculations indicate that they should have shattered into small islands millions of years ago (if said millions had passed) should cause you to wonder, but it doesn't seem to. Time to take off the news paper origami 'science' hat dreamer!

The Earth doesn’t appear young at all. It too apparently has the “appearance of age”, such that a model of great age is of use in explaining and predicting facts, while a young earth model is of absolutely no use.

Just as cosmological models that model a universe of great age are of utility, due either to the great age of the universe of the “appearance of age” makes no difference; while models that presume a young universe, are of absolutely no use.

It is you who have no concept of, or respect for, the principles of science; and attempt to subvert it to buttress weakness of faith.

If the Earth were more than 20,000 years old, it would be nothing but a scattering of gravel bars in a global ocean!

I’m tired of posting answers to an ignorant blind man.

The Earth is far older than 20,000 years old. The forces at work moving the continents is fully consistent with a millions of years old Earth, and the fossil evidence of what temperate species inhabit Antarctica show that it drifted into polar climes long before any modern species existed.

I am tired of posting reason to an unreasonable and ignorant blind man.

I’ve never heard that before. Can you cite your source for that information?

I can think of two other responses. Here’s one:

“Miracle” by definition means outside the current scientific model, that’s all it means. Lightning or birth do not stop being miracles by power of science in naming their processes and modeling them. The quote from Clarke “Any sufficiently advanced technology is indistinguishable from magic.” can relate here to God and nature as well.

It is sometimes ironic to look for a ‘miracle’ when surrounded by one.

Bible does exactly state the length of the period from the creation, to the birth of Christ.

Nowhere in the Bible does it indicate the age of the earth. You've made that up.

All it takes is to add up the ages of each individual listed in the geneology when their progeny was born. The sum of all of them is the total period from creation, to the birth of Christ.

All based on 24 hour days no less which is nonsense. Since your assumptions are incorrect your theory is junk. Then we use our God-given brains and look at the evidence. There is zero evidence to support a young earth and overwelming evidence to support an old earth. So you have not interpreted scripture - you have made up scripture and misusd the Bible which is in violation of clear direction in Revelations not to do so. If Christ felt it was important for us to know the age of the earth he would have told us without need for your theory which borders on numerology. But again - you are free to believe what you wish and we are free to tell you how ridiculous you are and how people like you chase others from Christ with such nonsense.

Years in the Bible are not taken literally. You need to study the ancient cultures , many “numbers were symbolic”. This is no way negates the Bible..It’s silly to think otherwise. Science is a tool of God .

“Years in the Bible are not taken literally.” [excerpt]
Did you get that from reading the Hebrew?

When I read 2nd Chronicles 36:11, Zedekiah [was] one and twenty years old when he began to reign, and reigned eleven years in Jerusalem, it sounds literal.

When I go look at the Hebrew, it gives no indication that it is anything but literal.

The Hebrew root words translate out to twenty one years Zedekiah reign one +ten years Jerusalem

What is your best evidence that Zedekiah didn't really ascend to the throne at 21, and reign for 11 years?

I can see that you’re wedded to your embrace of ignorance, so I’ll judt give up on you as long as your lies harm no one else.

BTW, length of days is irrelevent to anyone’s age. you’d never know it if your day got longer or shorter.

Discuss the issues all you want, but do not make it personal.
