Hello, I have a Wedding in September and will need to find a place to attend Mass on Sunday before heading back to MA (or on the way).
I know this is Hubbard land so I am a little wary of attending just any Church. Looking for as orthodox as I can find in the area heading East.
Appreciated....
This is an excellent directory of Latin Mass Churches in USA & Canada

Sacred Heart Church - 50 Mohican Street - Lake George, NY 12845 - (518) 668-2046.
Theres also Blessed Sacrament in Bolton Landing - 7 Goodman Ave. Bolton Landing is North of Lake George, a pretty little town.
Is Sacred Heart safe? It is across the street from where I’m staying but the website gives me pause.
They call the Chalice a “Cup” and seem to have 5,000,0000 Extraordinary Ministers.
It also appears they move into a gym in the warm weather months.
Check websites for Adoration and/or Latin masses. That will be a clue that you are in an orthodox church. It is around here, anyway (Los Angeles).
Well worth the trip but it is more like 1.5 hours away. If you have the time you should go.
Try to understand that Lake George has a population in summer 10X its resident population.
Not sure as I always stay in Bolton Landing. It’s nice and, only about 5 miles north of the village.
Any thoughts here?

I live in Albany, the epicenter of the diocese. The only RC Church celebrating the TLM (St. Peter and St. Paul in Troy) has just closed. From what I understand, they are moving the Latin Mass to St. Joseph's in South Troy. A short distance further south in downtown Albany is St. Mary of the Angels, an historic landmark, that maintains a beautifully celebrated NO liturgy, interspersed with Latin prayers.
If you would like to taste the beauty and reverence of the east, you are most welcome to join us at St. Ann Maronite Catholic Church (apologies, web site still under construction). You will hear the Words of Institution chanted in Aramaic, the language of Jesus Christ, the Apostles and the Blessed Mother. Our pastor is bi-ritual (Maronite and Latin Rites), speaks 8 languages fluently (including Latin, Koine Greek, Hebrew and Aramaic). Our bishop (Gregory John Mansour) has sent Fr. Kairouz to CUA in Washington, to study Canon Law. He will be back by September. Freepmail me if you would like more information.
Have I reason to fear for that little Gothic jewel?
Not that I know of. I vacation there for a week every August so that is the last time I was there.
