The Approaching Apocalypse ....

For centuries men and women have prophesied the end of the world - inspired principally by the word imagery of the biblical ‘Book of Revelation’. The prophecies of Armageddon, plagues, earthquakes, flames, doomsday and 666 the sign of the beast resonate not only with Christians. In November 2008 St Martin's Church in the Bullring premiered the unique show that brings the imagery of the apocalypse alive.

Approaching Apocalypse is a 21st Century encounter with the biblical text of Revelation - the audience will be surrounded by sounds, music, digitally projected visuals and readings, bringing the historical text to life.

I don’t know about an apocalypse but one prominent writer sure thinks we have a constitutional crisis and that civil war is a possibility:

I'm certain Obama is the anti-Christ described in Revelations.

I don't think so, for one thing he's not smart enough. The AC is suppose to be so persuasive that he will almost deceive the elect (Christians). 0bama is a dolt, especially when he's not reading from his teleprompter.

Also, the AC will be a ruler over the revived Holy Roman Empire. The AC will most likely hold the office of POTEU (president/prime minister of the European Union) sometime in the future. Maybe by 2012.

I am familiar with this theory, but it does not fit with Daniel 7. The EU does not correspond to the Roman Empire - Germany and Scandinavia were never part of the Roman Empire, but Egypt and other mid-eastern countries not part of the EU were. I believe that the eleventh horn of Daniel 7, is rather the POTUS.
