Almighty God's Two Jewish Witnesses Are At Hand!
The Ignorant Fishermen Blog ^ | 1/10/10 | DJP I.F.

The Day of Christ's/Messiah's coming for His body the Church just before the great and dreadful Day of the Lord are at hand! All signs point to that today. We have never seen in the 6000 year history of man at present the great global flux and conscious understanding that doom awaits at the very door step.

Just after the Rapture of the church transpires(which the scoffers and haters of the Grace of God totally reject), there will be a massive void of light and truth here on earth, i.e., there will not be one true Believer left on earth at this time. There will be billions of unregenerate (unbelieving) human beings in great darkness with a godless form of Christianity. This final form of apostate Christianity is referred to as the “Mustard Tree” and “Leavened Loaf” (Matthew 13:31-33). At the very moment in which the Body of Christ is caught up to meet Christ in the air (see 1 Thess. 4:13-18; 1 Cor. 15:51-53; 1 John 3:2-3), God will send down his Two Witnesses from Heaven, His Two Mighty Candlesticks. These Two Candlesticks will burn brilliantly in this post Church/ post Age of Grace darkened world, sharing the Glorious Gospel of Jesus Messiah (Rev. 11:3-12).

You mean Moses and Elijah (representing the Law and the Prophets) wasn’t them? Shoot.

Thanks for your response. I thought you were saying
they had already been revealed.

The only problem with that is that Jesus says Elijah already came - John the Baptist.

The “rapture” described by Paul will occur at Christ's second coming after the “tribulation” (i.e., at the end of history), at which time there will be the resurrection and judgment day for all. The last day will come “like a thief in the night,” bringing destruction to unbelievers but salvation to believers (1 Thess. 5:1 - 10). The “rapture” will occur after the appearance and work of the Antichrist (2 Thess. 2:3). Christ will gather His elect at the end of the time of tribulation (Matt. 24:29-31). At this time He will judge all people (Matt. 25:31-46). When the believers are raised, death is destroyed (1 Cor. 15:26, 51-57). This destruction of death occurs after the so-called “millennium” (Rev. 20:11-15). This indicates that the “rapture” occurs after the symbolical 1000 years of Revelation 20.

The Scriptures teach that there will be one final judgment day which will take place at Christ's second advent at the end of human history it. (Matt. 13:40-43; 25:31-32; 2 Pet. 3:7; 2 Thess. 1:7-10; Zephaniah 1; Isaiah 24-27). This last day is referred to as “the day of judgment” (Matt. 11:22), “that day” (Matt. 7:22; 2 Thess. 1:10; 2 Tim. 4:8; Isaiah 24-27, Zephaniah 1), and the “day of wrath” (Rom. 2:5; Zeph. 1:15). There is nothing in these texts that would support the view that there will be two, three, or more judgments separated by periods of time, or one long, drawn-out trial.

I think the scenario you describe is likely. It has far better scriptural support than Darby’s Rube Goldberg-esque eschatology.

He also said in the future tense ...”He verily (truth truth) cometh first and restoreth all things Mark 9:11, Matt 17:11. John was a voice crying in the wilderness (a place of desolation and spiritual death) John was to prepare and make ready the hearts of Israel and they rejected him and Christ (the crucifixion).. When Elijah comes he will not fail and as the scripture states.. ALL Israel will be saved.

he (Elijah) will indeed turn the hearts of the children to the fathers and the fathers to the children... John did not do that.. (Mal 4:5-6).

No offence but you are totally off on your position of the rapture. The Judgment seat or Bema seat of Christ after the rapture for true believers (1 Cor. 3:11-15, Rev 19:7-9). then the 7 year tribulation then at Christ second coming there is the goat and sheep judgment of all the nations that went against Israel (Zech 14:1-9, Matt25:31-46) then the 1000 year reign of Christ then the final Great White Throne judgment for all of lost humanity (Cain to the last unsaved individual of the 1000 year reign of Christ (Rev 20:11-15)

Did I miss the rapture? Who are these two individuals?

Jerry Seinfeld and Woody Allen.

Would anyone who disagrees with you about the rapture be a "scoffer" and/or a "hater of the grace of God"?

He says that in agreement with the Pharisees then says he had already came. John did turn the hearts, thus baptism of "repentance." Israel is the Christian church. John the Baptist shoots down the idea of race when he says that God could raise sons of Abraham from the stones. Jesus says that his Kingdom is not of this world.

So the inherent contradictions in your rapture still remain; two witnesses who are not believers left on earth, Christ has a third coming (because Christ comes to gather the elect in Matt. 24:29-31, which would be a coming, and then you have him coming again later).

Revelation is telling the same story repeatedly in different ways. In a sense, it's not that much different from how the Bible begins; God created heavens and earth, then the story is told again more specifically with seven days, then the story is told again more specifically on the creation of man. Revelation is also very symbolic, unless we really think Christ is a literal lamb with seven horns and eyes. And Revelations is really an incredibly beautiful book with vivid images and so many links to the OT. Without a deep understanding of the OT, it is incredibly easy to get lost with it's pages and miss the focus: Jesus.

Everytime someone mentions the rapture, there seems to be a new version. Used to be that all would be taken up before all the diseases and earthquakes of the tribulation took place. Have you heard of any Haitians disappearing in a rapture before the earthquake? Or the Tsunami, or Aids, etc. So awaits the fate of those who believe in a Rapture. You are partially right on about the Jews and the 2 witnesses. The House of Judah (Judah and Benjamin) and the House of Israel (other 10 tribes). It’s a long story. Read the Old in order to understand the New.

Blessings in your search for TRUTH.
