This is an interesting link. I think that lds like some groups chose unusual names or more like blending names. Like if the dad’s name is Henry and the couple has a girl, calling her Henrylena. Something like that.
Anyway, the link has tons of articles about the names. I haven’t looked at every link on the page so hope they are ok.

First thing I thought of was book of Mormon names, Ether Moroni, Mormon, Nephi, Lehi, Lemuel, Amulek and then early LDS names like Orrin, Parley, Orson, Brigham, Young, those kind of things.
Yeah, in CA i know alot of Jesus’, but they usually pronounce it “Hay-zeus”. :)

Yes, I sure don’t want to be accused of “misleading” anyone now do I?
Especially since I’m just a “hateful”, “mean”, “vicious” and “nasty” apostate who “spreads lies and misinformation”.
In my little elementary school in Missouri, I had a class mate named James Young. In about the third grade, our principal started calling him "Brigham".
I didn't know for a number of years what "Brigham" referred to and I doubt seriously whether James did either.
Looking back, I remember that, even at an early age, James really was fond of the girls.
After the principal started the nick name, it stuck and he was called Brigham throughout school. He liked the nick name even after he knew who the real Brigham Young was.
