Wow Godzilla is sharing the filthy menstral rags in the hope chest again... Just pointing out God's view of works of so-called righteousness to earn God's favor or make Him a debtor.
BTW, God is an equal opportunity offender on this point.

It is very much with us and it is very angering that there are those (LDS) who would cheapen it by saying that we have to add works to it to return to God the Father.

The LDS don’t get that all of our self-righteousness and works is like filthy rags (Isaiah).
To them, works are how we ‘cleanse the vessel’ so we can ‘endure the light of God’ as was stated earlier.
There is no differentiation, imo, between OUR works and the works God does THROUGH the saved.

You are entitled to your opinion even if it is not accurate and no I will not play the bate game with you!
carry on....
To: restornu
How is my statement inaccurate? Hmmm....
I appreciate you not ‘bate’ing me but I would appreciate a response and some dialogue.

BTW, I was responding to SVCW, the ping to you was only courtesy since I was quoting you. I didn’t expect you to respond.

I am very intrigued by the phrase
"carry on" which followed an interesting verbiage and cadence. So very familiar, so adminish.
Just saying.

Trying to get back on topic since we have spent so much TIME on it.
