They have been taught a lot fear and distrust so its hard to overcome. Like for instance when we say pray to Mary normally The Deity is prayed to only outside of Catholic pray but it also means more:-------- Pronunciation: \ˈprā\ Function: verb Etymology: Middle English, from Anglo-French prier, praer, preier, from Latin precari, from prec-, prex request, prayer; akin to Old High German frāga question, frāgēn to ask, Sanskrit pṛcchati he asks Date: 13th century transitive verb 1 : entreat, implore —often used as a function word in introducing a question, request, or plea 2 : to get or bring by praying intransitive verb 1 : to make a request in a humble manner 2 : to address God or a god with adoration, confession, supplication, or thanksgiving------------- Notice 1- To make request or 2- to address God -If you watch old movies about knights you will see the peasant say I pray thee lord to a monarch{ like to Beseech or intercede } We ask Mary and the Saints To only intercede to the Savior also while to him- like when we pray at Mass with him in him and in the unity of the Holy Spirit. Which is talking about Communion unity of the Saints which Are the Body of Christ like Paul says Christ is the head and we are the hands and feet of the Body Of Christ. Notice when Christ talks to Paul when he is converted "As he neared Damascus on his journey, suddenly a light from heaven flashed around him. He fell to the ground and heard a voice say to him, "Saul, Saul, why do you persecute me?" "Who are you, Lord?" Saul asked. "I am Jesus, whom you are persecuting," he replied. "Now get up and go into the city, and you will be told what you must do."------- Notice Christ Says why are you Persecuting me- This is what Paul is talking about The Body of Christ. Paul did not Physically hurt Christ he helped stone Saint Stephen the martyr to death so spiritually we are THE BODY OF CHRIST since that is so we can ask for intercession from them in the unity of the spirit. Also We are told in the old testament we will have access to the Heavenly Court in this manner------ Notice Zechariah 3; Now Joshua was standing before the angel, clad in filthy garments. 4 He spoke and said to those who were standing before him, "Take off his filthy garments, and clothe him in festal garments." 5 He also said, "Put a clean miter on his head." And they put a clean miter on his head and clothed him with the garments. Then the angel of the LORD, standing, said, "See, I have taken away your guilt." 6 The angel of the LORD then gave Joshua this assurance: 7 "Thus says the LORD of hosts: If you walk in my ways and heed my charge, you shall judge my house and keep my courts, and I will give you ACCESS among these standing here. 8 2 Listen, O Joshua, high priest! You and your associates who sit before you are men of good omen. Yes, I will bring my servant the Shoot. ------- HE is talking about The Future Messiah which means MY servant the Shoot. The Times of the Messiah which is Jesus Christ era. We are now in this time. John 2:21 (Jesus) said to them again, "Peace be with you. As the Father has SENT ME, So I SEND YOU." Then goes on to show the office of confession but also shows a power of attorney for the believer{ Altar priest or lay priest which means access}-- Did Christ have access to Heaven? How about the us now.

That’s very interesting. I will do a search of the Bible for the word “access.”

I am reminded by your post of the travelers to Emmaus who only recognized Christ AFTER the breaking of the bread: the celebration of the Eucharist.

Talk about access! We have such complete access to Christ that we take His body and blood into our own body! What a gift He gave us!

I like your analogy Sometimes you can read scripture then there appears more in them there words. God is Good! As I see with the eyes God gave me, then to read, also the fingers to type. Once I was on a site with an atheist and told him that he sees with the eyes God gave him and other 5 senses talk along those lines thank you’s to the Lord boy you would’ve thought I shot his mother. He had a fit then wrote 500 hundred word response that was totally crazy. But anyway God bless and guide you In His Name
