Awww, that's a little guy ... my prayers are with him and his mommy. Is your cousin's family Catholic? If so (or even if not!), they can bring out the sacramentals. Miraculous medals, rosaries, scapulars, holy water ... all very good for an occasion that requires some holy strength. My nephew made his appearance early at just around 2 lbs., and he's a strappin' baby right now. I'd even say a bit of a tank.:) Hang in there, say your prayers, think positive!!
Prayer from Mother Teresa ... just fill in the words for the new baby ...

Yes, but they currently aren’t practicing. However, like you siad, they can still bring out the sacramentals like holy water, etc.
