I have heard that because those who have accepted Christ as Savior during the Tribulation and who make it through the Tribulation alive will be producing children all through the thousand year reign of Christ, those generations of children will require a reminder of the horrible consequences of sin and the sacrifice Jesus Christ made for all mankind.

Because sin will not completely be eradicated during the Millennial reign; there won't be rebellion on the scale that exists today, but there will be "quiet" sin, and sin will still be in the heart of those who are born during the Kingdom Age.

The sacrifices during that time will be for those who are born into mortal bodies and who still have a sin problem. We know, for example, that at the end of the Millennial reign, when Satan is released for a short time, he will be able to convince a certain number of men living at that time to rebel against Jesus one last time so we know that sin will still be an issue during those thousand years.

Anyway, that's what I have heard about the subject of sacrifices during the Millennial reign.

Well defended doctrinal position. I agree as it is based upon His doctrine.

I’ve observed hereon and elsewhere . . .

that the obsessive, addicted tendency to post extremely UNBiblical screeds

denying truths of Scripture;
denying actualy history;
denying logic

seems to infect folks in

INVERSE PROPORTION

to their CAPACITY to have honest, fruitful discussions and genuine dialogue.

Sooooo such an assertion appears to be highly likely quite true . . . though probably not 100% as intended.

I do not believe the

Western wall/wailing wall

can be considered PART of THE TEMPLE.

It is the remaining part of THE RETAINING WALL OF THE PLATFORM OF THE TEMPLE COMPLEX.

The TEMPLE was quite distinct from the platform it stood on.

Thank you so very much for sharing your insights and testimony, dear brother in Christ!

Truly, I know of no instant fix for learning to trust God with every thing in our lives whether great or small.

Letting go is an ongoing struggle for me. I diligently begin each morning once again laying it all down and chastening myself that if I, like the Hebrews in the examples above, insist on having things my way - He will let me and I will fail.

I remind myself that the only cure for my troubles is to lay them down before Him and not touch them again because it's a "done deal."

But seek ye first the kingdom of God, and his righteousness; and all these things shall be added unto you. - Matthew 6:33

But he turned, and said unto Peter, Get thee behind me, Satan: thou art an offence unto me: for thou savourest not the things that be of God, but those that be of men. Then said Jesus unto his disciples, If any [man] will come after me, let him deny himself, and take up his cross, and follow me. For whosoever will save his life shall lose it: and whosoever will lose his life for my sake shall find it. - Matt 16:23-25

Therefore I say unto you, What things soever ye desire, when ye pray, believe that ye receive [them], and ye shall have [them] - Mark 11:24

I also remember as part of my morning meditation that pride is at the root of wanting things my own way, that God has made a hundred billion people and I am just one of them. That's like a drop of water in an Olympic sized swimming pool.

And worse, I'm blind. All I can see is through my own eyes. I can't see what the other guy sees and I can never truly understand him. And I certainly cannot see "all that there is" all at once. Only God can, only He speaks objective truth. He is Truth. A thing is true because He said it.

And God said, Let there be light: and there was light. - Genesis 1:3

By the word of the LORD were the heavens made; and all the host of them by the breath of his mouth. - Psalms 33:6

The heavens declare the glory of God; and the firmament sheweth his handywork. Day unto day uttereth speech, and night unto night sheweth knowledge. [There is] no speech nor language, [where] their voice is not heard. – Psalms 19:1-3

One who is unaware of his blindness can woefully falsely believe that he is the center of the universe. It can be that bad, incapable of unconditional love, abusing those who love him, never maturing, always dependent, always excusing himself and accusing others.

The LORD knoweth the thoughts of man, that they [are] vanity. - Psalms 94:11

So all I can recommend on experience is prayer, constant prayer, focusing on Who He IS until our concerns are moot.

Pray without ceasing. - I Th 5:17

Love God. Believe Him. Trust Him.

I'm giving some of you one more chance to see the truth of Matthew 24 in light of other pasages. Read and think carefully about the following:

Matthew 23 and 24 predict a time of Jerusalem's desolation, when Rome's legions surrounded it and destroyed it to its very foundations. This happened in 70 AD. At that time, those not killed in the city by famine or the sword were carried off by the Romans as slaves: dispersed throughout the Roman Empire. This is a matter of historical fact.

Here are the passages that predicted the fall of Jerusalem again:

37 "O Jerusalem, Jerusalem, the one who kills the prophets and stones those who are sent to her! How often I wanted to gather your children together, as a hen gathers her chicks under her wings, but you were not willing! 38 See! Your house is left to you desolate; 39 for I say to you, you shall see Me no more till you say, 'Blessed is He who comes in the name of the Lord!'"

Matthew 23:37-39 (NKJV)

15"Therefore when you see the 'abomination of desolation,' spoken of by Daniel the prophet, standing in the holy place" (whoever reads, let him understand), 16 then let those who are in Judea flee to the mountains.

Matthew 24:15-16 (NKJV)

As pointed out before, the "abomination of desolation" was Rome's legions bearing ensigns (graven images to the Jews) of eagles and Caesar's images on banners they carried with them as they surrounded Jerusalem. Seeing those legions, and the ensigns they bore, surrounding Jerusalem would have been a clear and unmistakable sign to flee it.

Luke writes:

20"But when you see Jerusalem surrounded by armies, then know that its desolation is near. 21 Then let those who are in Judea flee to the mountains, let those who are in the midst of her depart, and let not those who are in the country enter her. 22 For these are the days of vengeance, that all things which are written may be fulfilled.

Luke 21:20-22 (NKJV)

The vengeance of which Luke writes can be found in Matthew 23, when Jesus is wrapping up His tirade against the Scribes and Pharisees:

33 “You snakes! You poisonous snakes! How can you escape being condemned to hell? 34 I'm sending you prophets, wise men, and teachers of the Scriptures. You will kill and crucify some of them. Others you will whip in your synagogues and persecute from city to city. 35 As a result, you will be held accountable for all the innocent blood of those murdered on earth, from the murder of righteous Abel to that of Zechariah, son of Barachiah, whom you murdered between the temple and the altar. 36 I can guarantee this truth: The people living now will be held accountable for all these things.

Matthew 23:33-36 (GW)

God used the Romans, under Titus, to fulfill this prophecy approximately 40 years after Christ uttered these words.

Most of Matthew 24 is fulfilled in 70 AD. This is a historical fact.

But God isn't finished with Israel.

Ezekiel 37 and 38 describe how God returns them to the land "in the latter years" and how He brings Gog and Magog against them, so that the nations would know He is God:

2 "Son of man, set your face against Gog, of the land of Magog, the prince of Rosh, Meshech, and Tubal, and prophesy against him, 3 and say, 'Thus says the Lord God: "Behold, I am against you, O Gog, the prince of Rosh, Meshech, and Tubal. 4 I will turn you around, put hooks into your jaws, and lead you out, with all your army, horses, and horsemen, all splendidly clothed, a great company with bucklers and shields, all of them handling swords. 5 Persia, Ethiopia, and Libya are with them, all of them with shield and helmet; 6 Gomer and all its troops; the house of Togarmah from the far north and all its troops--many people are with you. 7 "Prepare yourself and be ready, you and all your companies that are gathered about you; and be a guard for them. 8 After many days you will be visited. In the latter years you will come into the land of those brought back from the sword and gathered from many people on the mountains of Israel, which had long been desolate; they were brought out of the nations, and now all of them dwell safely. 9 You will ascend, coming like a storm, covering the land like a cloud, you and all your troops and many peoples with you."

Ezekiel 38:2-9 (NKJV)

In 70 AD, the remnant of Israel - the Jews - were scattered abroad. Ezekiel prophesies of a time when they will be regathered to the land of Israel, and when Magog (located in what's now known as Turkey) will be joined by Persia (Iran), Ethiopia, and Libya for a decisive battle.

Ezekiel continues:

You will come up against My people Israel like a cloud, to cover the land. It will be in the latter days that I will bring you against My land, so that the nations may know Me, when I am hallowed in you, O Gog, before their eyes."

Ezekiel 38:16 (NKJV)

18 "And it will come to pass at the same time, when Gog comes against the land of Israel," says the Lord God, "that My fury will show in My face. 19 For in My jealousy and in the fire of My wrath I have spoken: 'Surely in that day there shall be a great earthquake in the land of Israel, 20 so that the fish of the sea, the birds of the heavens, the beasts of the field, all creeping things that creep on the earth, and all men who are on the face of the earth shall shake at My presence. The mountains shall be thrown down, the steep places shall fall, and every wall shall fall to the ground.' 21 I will call for a sword against Gog throughout all My mountains," says the Lord God. "Every man's sword will be against his brother. 22 And I will bring him to judgment with pestilence and bloodshed; I will rain down on him, on his troops, and on the many peoples who are with him, flooding rain, great hailstones, fire, and brimstone. 23 Thus I will magnify Myself and sanctify Myself, and I will be known in the eyes of many nations. Then they shall know that I am the Lord." '

Ezekiel 38:18-23 (NKJV)

Get it?

Matthew 23, 24, and Luke 21 prophesy of Jerusalem's desolation (complete destruction) destruction, which was fulfilled in 70 AD, when Rome's armies besieged it.

However, the next time Jerusalem is surrounded by those seeking to destroy it, God intervenes and wipes out the invading armies at a time specifically prophesied - not once, but twice - "in the latter years" and "latter days."

Only one of these sets of prophecies deal specifically with Jerusalem "in the last days" and they are not found in Matthew 24 or Luke 21!

Matthew 24 has been mostly fulfilled in 70 AD. Ezekiel 38 is yet before us.

If you don't understand something this simple, God help us all.

It’s been my observation that folks have to

HAVE TRUTH

before they can share it.

. . .

further

. . .

that the TWISTING, MANGLING, PERVERTING, DENYING

OF GOD’S WORD

IS THE OPPOSITE

OF TRUTH.

Romans 11:1 I say then, God has not rejected His people, has He? May it never be! For I too am an Israelite, a descendant of Abraham, of the tribe of Benjamin. 2God has not rejected His people whom He foreknew...

You are right it is clear, but until you read it for yourself and pray on it the Covenant Theology that argues Christians are the new Israel and God is done with the Jews sounds right. It's the realization that God is not done with the Jews that made reading Revelation so easy.

In order for something to be "making it personal" it must be about the Freeper, personally.

For instance, if I said "Buddhist beliefs are demonic" that would not be making it personal. But if I said "You are demonic" that would be making it personal.

When one belief spawns from another it is not uncommon for both to condemn the other in the harshest terms possible: anathema, apostate, cult, Satanic, heresy, Hell bound, etc. Those terms often become part of the Holy writ and are deeply held.

And whereas the terms are not tolerable on "caucus" "ecumenical" "prayer" or "devotional" Religion Forum threads, they should be expected in the town square format of "open" Religion Forum debate. That is why thick skin is required on open RF threads.

When such comments are directed to me personally, as can be seen in the “To” header, I take them personally.

How long in the name of “open debate” are you going to let certain individuals in this forum, by way of their very “un-Christlike” posts, defame Him?

And yes, I am responding to this publicly because that’s how you addressed me. If you’d like to take this private, we can discuss it further there.

"The Apostle Matthew (formerly known as Levi, the tax collector"

So, Jewish..... he like Paul, drop their Jewish names for goy names...

Matthew who quotes a prophecy that doesnt even exist?

Matt 2:23 "and came and lived in a city called Nazareth This was to fulfill what was spoken through the prophets: "He shall be called a Nazarene."

No where in all of Tanakh (OT) including the Talmud is there such a prophecy.

Matthew who has a fatal flaw in Jesus genealogy?

11 And Josias begat Jechonias

And in Jer 22 it say this about him

30 This is what the LORD says: "Record this man as if childless, a man who will not prosper in his lifetime, for none of his offspring will prosper, none will sit on the throne of David or rule anymore in Judah."

So Jesus genealogy is through a cursed king that NO children will ever sit on the throne of David.

Matthew who makes up a prophecy about Jesus?

Matt 2:15 This was to fulfill what had been spoken by the Lord through the prophet: "OUT OF EGYPT I CALLED MY SON."

This is the text he is quoting:

Hosea 11: 1 When Israel was a youth I loved him, And out of Egypt I called My son.

It is Israel NOT Jesus. Hosea was speaking of the exodus..

Okay, I am only at chapter 2....and already Matt is thoroughly discredited.

I too Giovanna have heard the same thing...I was told by an Orthodox Jewish woman that in the World to Come, people will still be pro-creating....

I’m not sure of everything that is going to happen in the Millenial Kingdom, but as a believer in *Christ our LORD* I think some people might be on the earth in a condition subject to sin as Blaster1960 states, man will still have *Free Will* but they will be isolated to earth.

I believe Jew and Gentile alike who have embraced Christ as *LORD and SAVIOUR* will be granted *perfected bodies* so that we have the ability to roam the earth in this new condition, and we have the ability to explore the *Divine Realm* based on our understanding of G-D’s knowledge, wisdom and universal laws.

I believe the 144K (Perfected Jews in Torah) will be the ones who will be instrumental in teaching *Torah* to those who remain on the earth....

Christ said for those who believe we have been reconciled to G-D, if we have been reconciled then why would we need further study in G-D’s (Earth) laws?. I think we will be perfected so in honoring G-D it will be with worship and certain holidays like the *Feast of Tabernacles* Jubilee...and being part of the Divine Realm....This is where I think we will need further study and knowledge to elevate us to each of G-D’s cosmological realms..

As much as I respect Zionist Conspirators and Blaster1960 knowledge of (Torah*) and true honor they give to G-D, I think they are in-correct what they think the Ultimate role is between Man and G-D.

G-D intended and created human beings to have a relationship with, he created them to have knowledge about the earth and the heavenlies as what is written in *Genesis* I look forward to exploring all of G-D’s universe, his *Divine Realm* the infinite amout of Galaxies and Stars..

(Maybe I just want a break from earth for awhile! :)
