Christian Newswire ^ | July 7, 2010

Bill Keller, leader of the world's largest interactive Christian website for 11 years, Liveprayer.com, was in the national news a few years ago for his now infamous quote, "a vote for Romney is a vote for Satan!" Keller is now after another Mormon, radio and TV personality Glenn Beck.

I'm guessing he likely follows Reagan's 11th commandment and doesn't eat his own, at least in matters of faith.

Never mind, I see he calls Fred Phelps his friend and brother in Chist. Makes me wonder if he hates our troops too.

I stand by my previously censored comment, and raise it up a notch. He is a ***********, *************, and a **************. (and just for political commentary, it is good to point out that not only Phelps a CINO (Christian in Name Only) but he is a self-professed Marxist and friend of Al Gore.

Bill Keller has also appeared on shock jock radio programs like “Bubba the Love Sponge” and Howard Stern. He is all in it for the attention. (translated Attention Whore).

Birds of a feather.

Boy, I would love to see Beck accept his invitation for a debate. But part of me really likens the whole thing to negotiating with terrorists.

“I agree with Bill Keller”

Sorry, but I have to strongly disagree. This is not Christian love. This is not Christian anything. This is religious bigotry IMHO.
Beck has not attacked the Christian faith. He has done a good job pointing out the criminality that is the CommieCrate party. That is a good, honorable and patriotic thing to do. I, for one, am grateful that he has done so.

What qualifies Bill Keller to practice religious bigotry?

But he makes millions with his TV program spreading his hate, er I mean love.

That's certainly unfilthy lucre. /sarc

On religious grounds, mormonism is very different from evangelical Christianity, so I agree there. However, to quote the late Jerry Falwell(paraphrasing), “if I need brain surgery and an atheist is the best doctor for the job, I won’t try to find a less qualified Christian doctor for the job because I want to live.”

Beck is not a Christian, but he is not trying to proselytize his audience to mormonism, but to conservatism. So far, he has excelled at that more than any “Christian” political commentator.

I agree. I wonder what would happen if you got David Barton, whom TIME named one of the top 25 most influential Evangelicals, who has joined Beck's on-line university venture as a prof, in the same room.

That would be some fine entertainment. Talk about brothers in Christ... not.

Hit the nail on the head. It seems there isn't much different between Keller and Phelps, they just have a different target but the message is the same.

I’m beginning to think that the Huckabee fans are trying to keep up the anti-Mormon momentum in preparation for a second Huckabee run for president. Heaven help us.

While I disagree with you that Beck is not a Christian, I agree with Fallwell.

As well as Fallwell’s University (Liberty), that recently asked Beck to give the Commencement speech and gave him an honorary doctorate.

Someone mentioned that he is a friend of Al “message me right here” Gore. I would not be surprised to learn that he is a Soros funded actor/player.
