My dog made a quick get out as I was closing the garage door...tried to run after him, but he is toooo fast. My husband and I looked for him for 3 hours last night. Put up signs and went to the shelter...no sight of him. If I could get some prayers for help in finding him, I would appreciate it. Thanks. God Bless.
Thank-you, He has been found but was taken to a shelter way north of me and I can’t get him till Tuesday. Just relieved He has been found and in good hands now. :)

I know that I would be devastated if one of my mini-dachshunds was lost.

My prayers are with you. Don’t just call the local animal shelter but also go there. How you may define your dog may look different to someone else (especially if not a pure breed). Also, the person taking the info may not post it (we dealt with that in the past). Check any wooded areas near you. We had a Boston Terrier once who ran away and was found about three or so miles away in a wooded area by a walker. Post any info on Craigslist and put up pictures with a reward offered. If you live near a county line, also check the next county’s animal control. Good luck.

My 10yo baby passed away a week ago Friday and I am still in shock and so lost. I am so very happy you had a great outcome. After much thought, I will get another, this time a rescue dog.

I wish more people would take animals found roaming to shelters to be found or adopted.
