I don’t believe in the rapture.

Then you're denying Scripture which means you believe God doesn't tell the truth.

We are here at this time for something.

We're here for something but that doesn't mean the Bible isn't inerrant and completely true and trustworthy. The fact that we're here for something doesn't negate the entirety of the Scripture.

The only knowledge I get about the Rapture is from God's book.

Where do the deniers get their information?

The Rapture Scriptures are pretty straightforward and clear and very difficult to understand any other way than the way they were written.

And as for when the time for the Rapture will be, Jesus told us very plainly that when we see the signs He gave for His return begin to happen, that our "redemption draws nigh". As has been documented on FR many, many times, we are now in the time when we are witnessing those signs given by Jesus happening all at once and in conjunction with each other.

So basically, there isn't much contention among those who take the Word of God as He wrote it: literally and without any additions or subtractions by man or any allegorizing of His Word into meaninglessness. It isn't confusing to us at all and there is no reason to "contend" anything.

"Most everybody believes Jesus will come in the air to take us home..."

Actually, 'home' comes to us in the form of the New Jerusalem coming down from heaven at the end of the millenial reign. That is the place he prepared for us to dwell with him forever. This coincides with the resurrection of 'the rest of the dead'.

And it's probably a little over a couple of hundred years before the tribulation begins with Christ's return at the end when the first resurrection (aka 'rapture') occurs.

Generally OK but the author is wrong about the Age of Grace.

I agree with you.

I believe that Job speaks of Grace in Job 19:25-28.

I also believe that the "church" age is erroneous as well.

Ekklesia first occurs in Deuteronomy 4:10.

In light of the fact that Iscool was responding to a poster who made a choice to engage on a thread designated Caucus, well aware of the type of response he would get, I’d like this thread to remain a Caucus.
