The Archdiocese of Philadelphia announced Tuesday that it had suspended 21 priests from active ministry in connection with accusations that involved sexual abuse or otherwise inappropriate behavior with minors.
The mass suspension was the single-most sweeping in the history of the sexual-abuse scandal in the Roman Catholic Church in the United States, said Terence McKiernan, president of BishopAccountability.org, which archives documents from the abuse scandal in dioceses across the country.
The archdiocese’s action follows a damning grand jury report issued Feb. 10 that accused the archdiocese of a widespread cover-up of predatory priests, stretching over decades, and said that as many as 37 priests remained active in the ministry despite credible accusations against them.

Well, we'll definitely never know if Rome keeps covering up for these pederast priests and hiding them, supporting them and even promoting them.

There are over 410,000 Catholic priests in the world. What's the historical rate of involvement in these scandals? Between 1.5 and 5%, which is comparable or less among protestant churches and other groups.

Reality: you hear disproportionately about the Catholic Church scandals because the church is a very old, large, patriarchal force for morality and Christian tradition. The stories are perfect headline bait and further the progressive's agenda to undermine a conservative tradition rooted in moral absolutes with over a billion adherents.

That was interesting and I suppose not too surprising. My first reaction was to thank God for Bishop Finn in Kansas City now. This weeding put process has been painful but is such a blessing. Imagine how much stronger the Church will be when the riff raff is gone.
The third usage of eunuch in this passage refers to “voluntarily abstaining from marriage”. Jesus Christ was explaining to his disciples why he not going to marry, for his mission was to be the Savior and Redeemer of mankind. No where in the church epistles are men told not to marry. Matter of fact several of the disciples he called were already married, Peter for instance.
We are told to marry, for it is better to marry than to burn (with lust) I Corinthians 7:1-9.
Obviously these so called priests need to get some women maybe they would leave the little kids alone.
We get it.
I hate what the Roman Catholic church is doing to its own children.
Why all Roman Catholics aren't outraged by this massive pedophile ring of priests is the real question. Instead some choose to enable it.

Part of the reason for the angry tone of this Grand Jury report is that apparently its members believe the Philadelphia archdiocese ignored its earlier report, continuing to protect and promote pederast priests. The 2005 report is here...
Why not read page three of this report and tell us about "hate."
We are supposed to hate the sin and love the sinner.
I find this very hard to do with the Roman Catholic hierarchy, who have covered for and enabled pedophiles for over 50 years in this country.
And, yes, I am a cradle Catholic.
Christ tells us not to retaliate and return evil for evil, but to be patient and know that God will mete out justice since vengeance belongs to God alone.
That doesn't mean we're supposed to encourage, tolerate or promote evil. We're supposed to right it.
"Therefore I esteem all thy precepts concerning all things to be right; and I hate every false way." -- Psalm 119:128
And as Paul says our patience will serve to further condemn the reprobate...
"Therefore if thine enemy hunger, feed him; if he thirst, give him drink: for in so doing thou shalt heap coals of fire on his head." -- Romans 12:20
But the best information about what will happen to those who destroy our children is from Christ...
"But whoso shall offend one of these little ones which believe in me, it were better for him that a millstone were hanged about his neck, and that he were drowned in the depth of the sea." -- Matthew 18:6

And yes, we all know there are cases of sexual abuse among school teachers, Protestant ministers, Jewish rabbis, etc.
However, from the evidence in front of our own lying eyes, there is NOTHING to compare to the organized, institutionalized protection and promotion of pederasty within the priestcraft of the Roman Catholic church.
The evidence shows us that two and three priests in the same parish were repeat child rapists. These men must have talked to each other. Bishops over these priests knew of their crimes. And did nothing.
Therefore it's not unreasonable to believe this goes beyond just dozens of child-raping wolves in priestly vestments. This is much more like a criminal ring of hardcore pederasts.
We realize Roman Catholics give little heed to the words of Scripture, but don't they pay any attention to the destruction of their own children by these rapist priests who are defended, protected and promoted by the Vatican?
This is a direct result of men believing the lies that tell them they are "another Christ" in both their "private as well as personal lives," according to Father Kenneth Baker.

James is saying that if a person does not display the fruit of the Holy Spirit, the good works of Christ within them, then it is doubtful they have been given true faith since true faith will result in good works.
And that is the only verse Roman Catholics can hinge their heresy of a works-based salvation on. One verse and still they get that verse wrong.
Paul corrected that error dozens of times...
But to him that worketh not, but believeth on him that justifieth the ungodly, his faith is counted for righteousness." -- Romans 4:4-5
"Knowing that a man is not justified by works of the law, but by the faith of Jesus Christ, even we have believed in Jesus Christ, that we might be justified by the faith of Christ, and not by works of the law: for by works of the law shall no flesh be justified." -- Galatians 2:16 "Now to him that worketh is the reward not reckoned of grace, but of debt.
Good works are the result of God's free and merciful gift of salvation; not the cause of it or else men would have reason to boast. And boy, does Rome boast.
It's no coincidence Rome doesn't understand God's free grace; it's so much more fun and self-satisfying to congratulate themselves for their salvation than to thank the Triune God alone for rescuing them from the penalty of their sins.
Read your Bible and learn the truth.
