I trust as much in this harpy’s screed, as I do faith in Bill O’Reilly’s phony poll he ran for president showing Bachmann getting 60% to Palin’s 40%
Maybe MB is actually going for the VP slot since she has fouled her nest with the House Leadership? Maybe it is payback for her not getting that committee chairmanship?
Right you are. The problem is that Bachmann is falling for it.
I saw a poll today from MN, where potential voters overwhelmingly told Bachmann to kiss off any support for prez in that state.
I consider both Bachmann and Cain to be genuine ideological conservatives, but Palin is more of a populist than an ideological conservative. There are a whole host of reasons why I do not consider Palin a conservative, but her high profile support for the Law of the Sea Treaty is at the top of the list. In my book that is as much of a disqualifier as Romneycare.
Bannon went into great detail as to Sarah Palin’s unfailing strengths over 20 years. He laid out what a great CEO she is and what she accomplished at every step of the way, from Wasilla councilwoman to, and through her governorship.
The video opening was a bit disconcerting to me. Because of the guy who was all, Every fellow for his own, tooth and nail. Gulp. Grub. Gulp. Gobstuff” like the character in James Joyce’s Ulysses.
Washington Post Sally Quinn is lying or at least is deceiving; Palin never said that it was a “private” vacation, she invited her followers to come along with her and her family to enjoy American history with a national announcement. The media were the ones chasing down the family
I read a wonderful explanation of Sarah’s one-time support for the LOST, but since the issue is low on my radar screen, I forget the rationale now. Does it trouble you that Bachmann has hired a buffoon to say things about Sarah that SHE apparently does not have the courage to say.
BTW, I see Sarah as a Constitutionalist, not a populist. A populist takes a poll, then encourages people to think that he or she can deliver the objective. That’s never Sarah Palin. SHE does the leading, based upon what SHE thinks is sound principle, damn the polls. Thanks again, Bob
Hey it`s nice that MB has fostered children, but you are not supposed to trumpet that yourself!
I heard her say that about herself, and it did not sound very good. You are supposed to have people say that about you, you are not supposed to blow your own horn.
She annoys me, she has for some time.
Sally Quinn is a left wing slut btw, I know her very well!
Only the Washington Post would have a whore like Sally Quinn, who climbed the corporate ladder on her back, writing about faith.
Yet another reason to appreciate Palin. She's good people.
She has no hope whatsoever and she knows it.
She's there to siphon votes from Palin in return for generous consideration later.
“Of course, by the time Vermont gets to vote, there may be no such choice left.”
The less impact Vermont has on determining the GOP nominee the better.
I disagree. Beckel is an honorable communist.
Rob is from Vermont. Does that answer your question.
While Palin is both formidable and adorable, it baffles me when folks refer to her base as the evangelical voter.
She is Goldwater/Western Libertarian in her political philosophy and you wouldn't expect social conservatives to be so enamored with her.
But they are and I'm happy for it.
Palin can take the marginal mountain states in the general election...Colorado, NM, AZ...MAYBE California.
Washington and Oregon are better than 50 50.
I know, I'm crazy:)
Yes, I too see Sarah as a consitutionalist not a populist. She is a very pragmatic constitutionalist.
“..just want a somebody elected wholl end Roe v Wade and the legalized death industry.”
Hate to burst your bubble, but it ain’t likely to happen. Furthermore, even if Pubbies control both houses and Executive, the lib packed courts intend to stop any changes to the lib advance to communism.
Our country now has an additional legislative branch of government that is there for life and has executive powers. It’s called the judicial branch. I’m sure the founding fathers didn’t envision it would be like that.
Someone in another thread posted three phone #s for Bachmann earlier today. I called the first one and got an answering machine for what I’m assuming was her campaign headquarters.
I left the msg that Rollins BS was not endearing her with a number of conservatives and that she or a member of her staff was welcome to call me to discuss it further.
Not expecting a call but, even if Sarah doesn’t run, Cain is an option. She might be having a recurrence of Newtitis. Stupid actions like that don’t bode well for her candidacy. Maybe I’ll call again and tell her to check out Free Republic.
