Reading the minds of groups of believers is to be expected in religious debate, particularly on the "open" Religion Forum threads.

For instance, some posters aver that Catholics worship Mary and some Catholic posters aver that Protestants make up their beliefs personally and so on.

Yes I do find it hilarious when someone thinks they can read the mind of God, particularly when He has not spoken on an issue. But the Moderator says posters can claim to do so, so please continue.

I believe that to claim to read the mind of God is to mock God and make Him into your personal idol.

Please note that I pointed out that the poster was reading the mind of God.
I did not say the poster was not allowed to do so. I am happy for the poster
to pretend to know God’s mind about things God has never said. It illustrates
just how out of touch with Christianity he/she is.

I appreciate the clarification that we are allowed to read the mind of non-Freepers.

That opens doors for discussion.

The trick is ... you can only do it when someone who believes that is is funny to tease using God as a tool to request it....Then you can only read the minds of his dead relatives as they tell you that the person is condemning themselves to Hell for all eternity and if they value their lives they will repent.

People just love to taunt God and Jesus Christ.
