I’d like to see the Baptists, the Jews, yes the Muslims and all the other Christian peoples vote this jerk out....they all claim to have these traditional values yet when it comes to electing someone, they vote like heretics.

50 percent of Catholics (Catholics make up about 22 percent of the U.S. population.) approve of his presidency...

The fact it is that high is simply a disgrace. Idiots!

there were higher percentages in other denominations. Why are you picking on the Catholics?

Or maybe I should say, “Why aren’t you standing with the Catholics against Obama on this contraception and constitutional issue?

Shame.

If you have been lostening to Hilary, she has replaced “Religious freedom,” with “freedom of religious worship.” Saudi Arabia has “freedom of worship.” Christians can worship there if they lock the doors and don’t do anything in public.

Liberals have long wanted to take over the Catholic Church as they took over the Episcopal Church. Sr. Keehan is an example of this type of Catholic. Plus you have the temporizing kind like Fr. Jenkins.

That won't be a negotiation. It will be a summary dismissal.

That's my prayer; for Obama, and a large number of Democrats in the House and Senate!

Well I heard Cardinal-to-be Timothy Dolan on Sunday night pretty much on Father Benedict Grouchel saying the same thing when he said he did not trust Mr. Obama at all.

Now that he’s done with Catholics, Sheik Obama (peas be upon him) can give his full attention to giving Muslims what they want.

“there were quite a few of us Catholics shouting against this @$$ hat right from the start.”

Absolutely. That’s why I addressed just those who voted for Hussein.

As for the Jewish people, I don’t think they’ll ever get it, in spite of the fact that the conservatives are on their side, and the democrats hate Israel. How blind can they be? Stunning. I think the answer is that American Jews aren’t all that Jewish, and the fate of Israel isn’t really an issue for them. We have good friends who are Jewish and we (Baptists) are infinitely more pro-Israel than they are.

There's a huge irony in all of this which I hope has not gone unnoticed. Obama has actually done the Catholic Church a rather large favor.

As a result of this controversy, substantial numbers of Catholics will have heard, for the first time in 40 or 50 years, that their Church actually opposes artificial contraception and abortion.

Their priests and bishops keep silent on the issue and hoped it would go away but it took a Kenyan communist to bring it to their attention.

Whatever it takes.

God does indeed move in mysterious ways.

I disagree. I think the opposite is true. The conservatives have been trying to gain control but the liberals are in charge and have been for a very long time. One of the advantages of being an Evangelical Christian is we do not have an elevated priesthood, or hierarchy, that demands obedience. As a result when liberals gain control of a church we either force them to change and if we can't we leave and reassemble with other Biblical Christians.

It seems to me that for RC's in America and the leaders of your church you are at a crossroads. I hope for America's sake the conservatives are able to win the day in your church. I doubt it though because of the way your church is organized.

I am relieved to see that some evangelicals are willing to side with the RCC on this matter. There are some rabid anti-Catholics that do not understand that this is a matter of religious freedom and not contraception and/or abortion.

:If Obozo and his minions can do this to one group then attacks on other Christians will not be far behind.

-—I doubt it though because of the way your church is organized.——

Well, it’s survived for 2000 years, claims 1,000,000,000 adherents, possesses a non-contradictory body of doctrine, and an unbroken line of apostolic successors.
