Your posts are a breath of fresh air...especially among the sola scripture haze.
I ought to learn to ignore the haze and pray that the haze dissapates for them.

I've just started reading Rod Bennett's latest book called FOUR WITNESSES, readings from Clement of Rome, Ignatius of Antioch, Justin Martyr amd Irenaeus of Lyon.
What could be more illuminating about the early Church than the words of those early Church Fathers?

From the Catholic Encyclopedia, “When St. Lawrence was asked for the treasures of the Church he brought forward the poor, among whom he had divided the treasure, in place of the alms.”
