You watch, Romney's campaign is going to throw allegations of religious bigotry at Christian conservatives like you can't believe.
Let me tell you something. The Romney people have some of the best political consultants in the country and they don't get there because they're always wonderful people. The RINO/GOPe are tough. They're very tough. We saw how they undermined Governor Palin during the last election, and the scorched earth policy they carried out against Romney's primary opponents who were conservative or Christian. I've worked with some of them on other campaigns, they're the best there is in the business. And there is nothing they won't do.
Already, Senator Hatch is accusing Christian conservatives of being Obama operatives.
Romney is no Christian. Same as Reverend Wright. They are both cultists of some weird variety.

I’m no fan of Romney, but I don’t think he will slit his own throat by attacking evangelicals. He NEEDs them.
I think he is more pragmatic and ‘slick’ than to do that. He is a politician, they try to be all things to all people. To Christian Conservatives, he’ll claim to be one of them. To liberals, he’ll promise them his ‘stash’. To Hindus, he’ll offer milk to Ganesh. To Jews, he’ll get circumcised on TV. For Muslims, he’ll wear a burka. For Pastafarians, he’ll pour tomato sauce on his head.
A career politician is like a used car salesman and we are all his marks.

The religious bigot schtick has been going on for a long time. The Willardbots threw that in my face going back to 2006, despite the fact they couldn’t come up with a single post to prove their slander.
You might not agree with this, but within my experience all Mormons view themselves as Christians, albeit weird ones. I’d advise you to begin worrying about Barrack Hussein Obama a bit more and about Mormons a bit less.
Romney himself will appear to stay above the fray, just like he did with Palin last election. It’s his surrogates who will attack Christian conservatives as religious bigots and/or Democrat operatives. It’s already happening, although I cannot prove it.
Correct! A tactic such as this would be suicidal for Romney, just as 0bama attacking Catholicism might well cost him his re-election. I don’t even think it would be wise for 0bama to attack Mormonism; That will be done under the media umbrella with numerous articles attacking Romney under the cover of attacking Mormonism.
That’s a good way to put it.. 0bama will attack Mormonism and Romney will attack Christianity, but using surrogates to do so.
Attacking anyone who points out what a political liability is it to have a Mormon nominee as a “bigot” is a foretaste of exactly what you predict.
Obama will hit Romney for the weird Mormon doctrines through his underlings. Everyone will know about these beliefs.
Hatch and other Mormons in high office or in the CIA or military are not elected on the national level.

I don’t understand your logic. Romney knows he needs both Evangelicals and Catholics to vote for him.
My issue with Romney has nothing to do with his religion, but rather with my belief that he won’t be much better than President Obama.

You say people will attack Romney for being mormon. Then people will attack the attackers for being anti-mormon christian bigots. Then you say romney will accuse them of being democrat operatives?
Which ones are the operatives? The anti mormon romney attackers or the anti-anti attackers of the attackers?
I think a bigger worry right now is the people supporting obama and why is it we get the evil eye whenever we question HIS citizenship and religion?
What is so insulting to Christianity is that Mormons CALL themselves Christian.
How can anyone vote for a person who is sure that he will be a leader on a distant planet when he dies? Ludicrous.
