For some reason, I was the only one that didnt like it. I felt like a disgusting voyeur watching a realistic and lifelike re-enactment of what happened to my Lord and Savior. I didn't like it either, for the same reason. If I remember correctly, the film also didn't mention the Resurrection.
Having the actors speak Aramaic made it realistic, but in the scenes in which Latin was spoken, it was not classical Latin but liturgical Latin, which almost certainly would not have been spoken at the time.

I didn't like it either, for the same reason. If I remember correctly, the film also didn't mention the Resurrection. The last scene, of the Resurrected Jesus, Incarnate among men, was the crowning glory of the film.
