"Yea, Tho I Walk Through the Valley of the Shadow of Death, I Will Fear No Evil...
For Thou Art With Me."
Psalm 23:4

"Those who live in the shelter of the Most High will find rest in the shadow of the Almighty. This I declare of the Lord: He alone is my refuge, my place of safety; He is my God, and I am trusting Him."
(Psalm 91:1-2)

Father, Thank You for this Day!

We thank You and We come to You in Love.

You have lifted us up with Your lovingkindnesses;
You have dignified us with loves and loyalties;
You have redeemed us, through Christ Jesus.
We are bold to come before You.
We sing with spirit and pray with courage, for Our American Heroes.

Please lift the hearts of everyone of our service men and women.
Bless them with Thy presence.
Guide their each and every way, Lord.
We remember with compassion, those lost while serving this great country.

Bless those family members as they wait for their safe return home,
Granting them strength and courage;
Remembering also, “Blessed are those who mourn, for they shall be comforted.”

Grant us homeland security,
May Thy Peace, the fruit of justice, truth and mercy, reign in America and throughout the world.

In Jesus’ Precious and Beautiful Name, we ask it, Father.

Amen and Amen!

Not to us, O LORD, not to us but to Your name be the glory, because of Your Love and faithfulness.
(Psalm 115:1)

The problem now is getting proper medical treatment for our wounded warriors. They abandon them and kick them to the garage pile when they are through with them, especially the ones with PTSD.

All Day With God

April 23, 2012

Brother Lawrence (1614–1691) felt intimately close to God as he humbly scrubbed pots and pans in the monastery kitchen. Certainly Brother Lawrence practiced specific times of devotional prayer. But what he found more life-transforming was prayer during the workday. In his devotional classic Practicing the Presence of God, he says, “It is a great delusion to think our times of prayer ought to differ from other times. We are as strictly obliged to cleave to God by action in the time of action as by prayer in the season of prayer.” In short, he advocated that we “pray without ceasing” (1 Thess. 5:17).

That’s a helpful reminder, because sometimes we tend to compartmentalize our lives. Perhaps we pray only during church worship, small-group Bible study, family devotions, and personal quiet times. But what about during our workday? To pray on the job does not mean we have to fall to our knees with clasped hands and pray aloud. But it does mean that work decisions and relationships can be brought to God throughout the day.

Wherever we are and whatever we’re doing, God wants to be a part of it. When prayer enters every aspect of our lives, who knows what God might do for His glory!

Let’s always keep the prayer lines open,
Knowing God is always there;
For we upon His name may call
Anytime and anywhere. —D. De Haan
True prayer is a way of life, not an emergency detour!

PRAYERS GOING UP FOR OUR AMERICAN HEROES AND FOR OUR BELOVED NATION!

GEORGE WASHINGTON RECEIVES VISION OF AMERICA'S FUTURE FROM ANGELIC MESSENGER.

In the coldest and darkest days of the American Revolution, General George Washington raised his prayers for the survival of his beleaguered Army and of the new Nation. The Lord answered those prayers, upheld his Army through a punishing nadir to everlasting glory and bestowed His manifold benefits upon the new Nation.

In like manner, let our prayers now rise for our heroes in the American military who seek to secure the benefits of Freedom on behalf of a people hungry for them. Father, look on our prayers for them with favor, guide their steps in righteousness and keep them in the shelter of Your Healing Wings. Bless and uphold them in the performance of their Mission. Through Jesus Christ, Your Son, Amen.

SHADOWS AT ARLINGTON

Heavenly Father, Lord of the Nations, unto Your Divine Mercy we commend the souls of these who have fallen in the service of our Beloved Nation and in defense of the freedoms we hold dear. We pray that You gather them in Your loving embrace, that You cause Your countenance to shine upon them and that You vouchsafe their souls to dwell eternally in Your Divine Presence. Through Your Son, Jesus Christ, with the Holy Spirit, one God, forever and ever, Amen.

Nos genuflectitur ad non princeps sed Princeps Pacem!

Listen, O isles, unto me; and hearken, ye people, from far; The LORD hath called me from the womb; from the bowels of my mother hath he made mention of my name. (Isaiah 49:1 KJV)

Beautiful, anointed prayer. Amen to it all and agreeing with you for the care of all our veterans. And may the God of peace Himself sanctify you through and through [separate you from profane things, make you pure and wholly consecrated to God]; and may your spirit and soul and body be preserved sound and complete [and found] blameless at the coming of our Lord Jesus Christ (the Messiah). (1 Thess. 5:23)

We all came together,
Both young and old
To fight for our freedom,
To stand and be bold.

In the midst of all evil,
We stand our ground,
And we protect our country
From all terror around..

Peace and not war,
Is what some people say.
But I’ll give my life,
So you can live the American way.

I give you the right
To talk of your peace.
To stand in your groups,
And protest in our streets

But still I fight on,
I don’t bitch, I don’t whine.
I’m just one of the people
Who is doing your time.

I’m harder than nails,
Stronger than any machine.
I’m the immortal soldier,
I’m a U..S. MARINE!

I’m working with a guy right now that had severe PTSD to the point where he could not function in society. After two full tours of duty in the worst of the fighting in Afghanistan, being blown up, injured, and in the Warrior Transition Program to bring him back into society, now in his third re-enlistment they are trying to kick him out dishonorably with severe wounds, both physical and psychological. That means no disability or medical care after this young man was destroyed. It’s no wonder the suicide rate is so high.

Here is another.....

http://themilitarysuicidereport.wordpress.com/tag/hbo-documentary/

Tomorrow is the funeral to the brave soldier Jonathan Bartlett, an Iraq war veteran and double amputee who was featured in numerous Virginian-Pilot stories as he recovered from his injuries, died Tuesday at his home in Chesapeake. He was 27. Family members said he killed himself.

It’s a shame the way our veterans are being treated.

The rest(sorry):

So stand in my shoes,
And leave from your home.
Fight for the people who hate you,
With the protests they’ve shown.
Fight for the stranger,
Fight for the young.
So they all may have,
The greatest freedom you’ve won

Fight for the sick,
Fight for the poor.
Fight for the cripple,
Who lives next door.

But when your time comes,
Do what I’ve done.
For if you stand up for freedom,
You’ll stand when the fight’s done

Almighty and eternal God, Protect our military as they discharge their duties. Protect them with the shield of your strength and keep them safe from all evil and harm.
May the power of your love enable them to return home safely to the people who love them and to the gratitude of the American people.
We ask this through Christ our Lord.

May God Guide And Heal Our Nation
