Is your so-called Religion...who are you to judge another’s religion...

Sorry. NOT a FREEPER record. Good try though.

You see, you took four sentences to refute yourself. [Your fragments above were three sentences apart]

We've seen self-refutations accomplished within one sentence in past posts!

Oh, and in case you (or somebody else) doesn't comprehend how you refuted yourself, allow me to explain.

You asked the question, "Who are you to judge another's religion?" This would imply that this same standard you are holding over Greyfoxx's head also applies to...well...you!

Yet you had just cast this pall over Greyfoxx's "religion" by adding the suspect adjective, "so-called." IOW, you indeed judged her religion as "suspect."

Therefore, when you can't even practice three sentences later your very sermon outline just preached from your post pulpit, that renders an obvious "flunk." (It's what we Flying Inmans call an "epic fail.")

Either your very personal standard ought to be jettisoned; or perhaps you should start a MindBender Monastery or something and go off and figure out how you can begin to practice the Mindbender personal religion...at least practice it with enough consistency so you can keyboard an actual post without contradicting yourself.

Otherwise, you leave the impression that you reek of religious hypocrisy. (Or that your other side has granted you an exemption from practicing the Mindbender Personal Religion...which makes your personal religion...well...a bit impersonal).

And while you may not be able to deal with the root of the hypocrisy minus Jesus Christ, perhaps if you practice your personal religion off in a silo somewhere for a while, you might be able to at least address how it appears to others.

Well. Maybe not.

But I'll bet you could eventually get thru an entire post without simultaneously refuting your own points! And that would be a great start!

In your quoted statement, you judge anther’s religion! Hypocritical post of the day!! [AMPU]

OK, for some reason I missed your second reinforcement of self-contradiction!

You Mindbender, closed with You are nothing better than modern day Pharisees!!!

And, unlike the other one -- which was three sentences apart -- you managed to do this one in back-to-back sentences.

Lo. Still not a FREEPER religion section record.

But a silver medal-winner! Congrats!

Now, I can't recall if the record is two or three examples of a self-refutation in the same post.

(I'll need to look that one up!)

But you're in the runnin' Mindbender! You may have just tied that record!

Stop making this thread "about" an individual Freeper. That is a form of "making it personal."

Discuss the issues all you want, but do not make it personal.

Please understand, this is not a wise ass question, but a real one.

If Jesus created the angels, then who announced his upcomming birth to the “shepards tending their flocks by night?” or the Three Kings/Wise Men?

Also, trust me. I am NOT LDS!!! Far from it. Any religion that would insist on my wearing expensive and uncomfortable underwear, and says I cannot have coffee is NOT for me.

I’m much more PCA Presbyterian, the Conservative branch of the Presbyterian Church,,,, sorta like a Bapttaterian or Assemblyaterian.

I’m not pro-Mormon. But I am VERY anti-Obama, and therefore (hold my nose) pro-anyone who can defeat him, even though Romney was my LAST choice to do so.

The ememy of my enemy is my friend.

Like in RVN. We used the Cambodian KKK all the time. Lying, theiving, stealing weasels, kill you in moment... but they hated the PAVN worse than they hated us.

Be well

Jesus is a Person with two natures, human and God. As God, He created the angels before the world began.

"If Jesus created the angels, then who announced his upcomming birth to the “shepards tending their flocks by night?” or the Three Kings/Wise Men?"

"In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God. He was in the beginning with God. All things came to be through him, and without him nothing came to be. What came to be through him was life, and this life was the light of the human race; the light shines in the darkness, and the darkness has not overcome it." John 1:1-5

God created the angels and Jesus is God, but He is the second person of the Trinity. He is not a separate entity, but a separate ousios. He is not God the Father or God the Holy Spirit, yet they are all God. God exists outside time. He always was and always will be. He became man in Jesus, while remaining wholey God.

Please stop sending me your messages. You have your beliefs. I have mine. Sending me more than 10 of these very long messages is abusive.

Such a change from an aggressive poster telling others what to do, into a whiney beggar pleading for ME to stop!

You post junk on FR and I am going to reply to it.

Deal with it however makes you FEEL good.

Your tagline sounds like something an avenging Danite would say................

Just as he is about to be licked to death by the tongues of a hundred little kitties!

Please understand, this is not a wise ass question, but a real one.

Dang...

I'm not supposed to make this PERSONAL!

From your question; I get the impression that you think that JESUS was not in existance BEFORE His birth: How could HE create something BEFORE he was on earth.

You need to talk to your spiritual leader and get the answer to this non-wise ass question.

I’m much more PCA Presbyterian, the Conservative branch of the Presbyterian Church.

17 It no sooner appeared than I found myself delivered from the enemy which held me bound. When the light rested upon me I saw two Personages, whose brightness and glory defy all description, standing above me in the air. One of them spake unto me, calling me by name and said, pointing to the other—This is My Beloved Son. Hear Him!
18 My object in going to inquire of the Lord was to know which of all the sects was right, that I might know which to join. No sooner, therefore, did I get possession of myself, so as to be able to speak, than I asked the Personages who stood above me in the light, which of all the sects was right (for at this time it had never entered into my heart that all were wrong)—and which I should join.
19 I was answered that I must join none of them, for they were all wrong; and the Personage who addressed me said that all their creeds were an abomination in his sight; that those professors were all corrupt; that: “they draw near to me with their lips, but their hearts are far from me, they teach for doctrines the commandments of men, having a form of godliness, but they deny the power thereof.”

20 He again forbade me to join with any of them; and many other things did he say unto me, which I cannot write at this time. When I came to myself again, I found myself lying on my back, looking up into heaven. When the light had departed, I had no strength; but soon recovering in some degree, I went home. And as I leaned up to the fireplace, mother inquired what the matter was. I replied, “Never mind, all is well—I am well enough off.” I then said to my mother, “I have learned for myself that Presbyterianism is not true.”

“If Jesus created the angels, then who announced his upcomming birth to the “shepards tending their flocks by night?” or the Three Kings/Wise Men?”

Jesus existed in eternity past BEFORE He was born.

He “became flesh” at a point in time, but “before Abraham was, I AM”, as Jesus Himself described Himself in John (ch. 8 I think).
