I love the OT. Generally, it foreshadows Jesus. One must remember that the chosen nation of Israel had to grow in their covenant relationship with God, just as we individuals must grow in our relationship with Christ. Otherwise, there was no reason to wait to send Christ into the world. The OT contains great wisdom and insight, and it teaches us many, many valuable things about the Trinity.

Numbers 6:24-26 “The Lord bless you and keep you; the Lord make his face shine upon you and be gracious to you; the Lord turn his face toward you and give you peace.”

This verse has helped me through difficult times in my life.
