When asked who Jesus Christ was, his response was "a great teacher", not "the Son of God, sent to earth to atone for the sins of mankind".
A Christian would have answered some variation of the latter.

As I have posited many times before, your upbringing has a lasting effect on you. I was raised by my grandmother and at a young age she had me attend a summer bible school. The lessons I learned in these bible classes still control much of my life.
Obama attended a Madras (Muslim equivalent to a Christian Bible school) and I’m sure that what he learned there is still controlling his life.
