I can't tell you. I am no psychic who can predict the future, nor would I want to be (it's a sin).

You seem to be quite intent on "predicting" the future....which is against His law.

I made my comment in response to somebody talking about the strong stance the LDS church had taken against porn. It hasn't been effective.

On the other hand, when posters claim thing like "Mitt Romney's grandfather was a polygamist," I point out that he wasn't and lead them through the family tree.

I'm interested in Mormon history (Mormon, because much of that history pre-dates formation of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints, with a hyphen) much more than theology. I just get irritated when facts of history are altered or denied.

As for the theology, I believe that everyone is entitled to his or her religious beliefs.

Swaggert was guilty of adultery, not fraud.

Exactly my point. Unfortunately, most religions now a days seems to focus on fleecing people, rather then spreading His Word.

Simple they lived lavish lifestyles people gave to them. They are nothing about shysters. My grandmother almost gave money to Swaggert..

No deflection intended. I am not Catholic, but have many Catholic friends.

I was raised Lutheran and decided to go back to the church I was raised in.

He was NOT there. I thought it was me. Later I found out they were a part of the “evangelical” part of the Lutheran church.

It’s not just Catholics. One thing I still hold against them is the horrible way they treated their congregation, in which the young ones were treated in a perversion way....and their cover up of it all.

I do believe MOST religions in this day DO NOT abide by His Word.
