James Carville: Romney’s Mormon religion still a problem [Mitt silent on bishop, gov roles]

What are Inmans? I see the word used frequently on these threads, but have never come across it anywhere else. The closest reference I can think of is John Inman, the wonderfully humorous British actor on the old show “Are You Being Served?” Are you calling folks here “wonderfully humorous British actors”? Just as "Christian" was a derisive term first bestowed upon them by their opposition @ Antioch (see book of Acts), "Flying Inmans" was meant to be yet another derisive term used by a self-confessed FR "Romneybot" (his, Plutarch's term, not mine)...(And it was Greyfoxx39 who immediately noted back then that Plutarch was essentially comparing us to "terrorist wannabes").

In that infamous post, Plutarch said (to Colorcountry & six others of us he copied): I regard the claims of Mormonism as theological. Didn't you claim to eschew theological discussion on political threads a few posts back? Henceforth, you and your co-FR-theologians shall be known as the FR Flying Inmans, because in a secular setting you make a big fuss out of religion...

Now in partial defense of Plutarch, there was a bit of "play" involved in this gesture...it wasn't what I would call 100% mean-spirited. In fact, Plutarch, when it was pointed out that he mispelled "Inman" then wrote: Far be it from me to call people names. That would be mean. The FR Flying Imam appellation is just a nickname, you know, like what GWB bestows on reporters and everyone else. It don't mean nothing. If those of you whose negative posting on Romney derive from your theological disagreement with Mormonism want to call yourself something positive, such as Crusaders for Truth, go ahead. I support Romney, so I guess I am a Romneybot.

You really are a piece of work. Which part of the lengthy, multi-sentence paragraph you quoted was false? If you expect me to correct my recolllection, you might point to which sentence was incorrect. Did restornu not have vision problems and post garbled sentences because of it? Did we not point out that she had amazingly perfect paragraphs on occasion and on a few she acknowledge then that she had doen a drag and paste? Was resty not trying to proselytize non-Mormons?

BTW, nice work, Colo, you stepped up and allowed the queen to stay in the background and just cheerlead. Way to go, such devotion. I do appreciate your leaping in and confirming your perfidious nature. It is becoming more exposed each time you play these twisting games of half true half false. I do find it interesting that you characterize Resty as honorable after she spent years playing ISM apologetics for the same religion you seem to believe should be the crucifixion factor for Milt Rominy. But of course, these 'religion of Mitt Romney threads' are a small percentage about the ISM and the majority percentage about Milt the liberal, so I guess you consider them legitimate uses of the religion forum, right?
