I am looking forward to him publicly excommunicating those California politicians who’s Catholic faith has lead them to support abortion. But I won’t hold my breath.

When you are a hammer, everything looks like a nail. Because of the MSM obsession with the homosexual agenda, they think that is the main reason why Cordileone was selected to be the new archbishop.

The Catholic church needs a military security lay organization for all sorts of reasons.

Its main mission would be to travel to oppressed Catholic communities around the world to provide self-protection advice and plans, as well as legal advice. There are many things such communities could do to protect themselves from violence, so that they don’t have to defend themselves from violence. But they need expert advice to know what to do.

Its secondary mission, which would apply here, would be to provide on site security and intelligence gathering services for situations where there is a strong possibility of anti-Catholic activities, from vandalism, protests, attempts to disrupt services, to much worse.

When possible, they might act in concert with local authorities, if they are sympathetic, or independently, if they are not.

Prayer of Saint Francis of Assissi

Lord, make me am instrument of your peace
Where there is hatred, let me sow love;
Where there is injury, pardon;
Where there is doubt, faith;
Where there is despair, hope;
Where there is darkness, light;
and where there is saddness, joy.

O Divine Master, grant that I may not so much seek
to be consoled as to console;
to be understood as to understand
to be loved as to love.

For it is in giving that we receive;
it is in pardoning that we are pardoned;
and it is in dying that we are born to eternal life.

Saint Francis was born in Assisi, Italy in 1182. He lived and preached a life of poverty and love of God to all men. He founded the religious Order of the Franciscans; with St. Clare, he founded the Order of the Poor Clares; and the Third Order for lay people. He died in 1226.

the Episcopal bishop of California [...] would also welcome into the Episcopal fold Catholics who “may find themselves less at home with Salvatore Cordileone’s installation.”

Buh-bye. Don't let the door hit ya where the good Lord split ya.
