The HHS mandate contains a narrow, four-part exemption for certain “religious employers.” That exemption was made final in February and does not extend to “Catholic social services, Georgetown hospital, Mercy hospital, any hospital,” or any other religious charity that offers its services to all, regardless of the faith of those served.**

Nice, strong response from the Catholic Church. Hoping a lot of people will see just how serious the Bishops’ beef is with the administration’s mandate. Rallies will be held across the country Oct. 20.

Oh, I totally agree. I should have clarified that in the context of the constitution, no business owner should have to compromise their religious beliefs.
