A great testimony of how God choose to save His elect.

And it's a great testimony of how when faced with the choice of accepting God's offer of salvation or rejecting it, this man chose to be chosen - he chose to accept Jesus' gift of eternal life and become part of the elect.

And, like God says in John 3:16, salvation is for whosoever will believe.

English captions are LOUSY for Deaf people! Blah! I wish hearing people would understand that Deaf people want to enjoy the same benefits that hearing people get…UNDERSTANDING WHAT IS BEING SAID!

Interesting how he says that there were many times he should have been killed yet he always felt someone was watching over him....

Jhn 6:44 No one can come to me unless the Father who sent me draws him. And I will raise him up on the last day.

Jhn 6:45 It is written in the Prophets, 'And they will all be taught by God.' Everyone who has heard and learned from the Father comes to me--

I have yet to find a Christian who doesn't say "Jesus saved me" regardless of how mix up their doctrine is.

I didn't post this so a discussion on the Calvinist cult could get going, but no one can be saved unless the Holy Spirit woos them, and they have the free will to refuse to respond to that wooing and drawing and to reject the offer of salvation or to respond to the drawing and accept the gift of salvation.

'But if serving the Lord seems undesirable to you, then choose for yourselves this day whom you will serve, whether the gods your ancestors served beyond the Euphrates, or the gods of the Amorites, in whose land you are living. But as for me and my household, we will serve the Lord.” (Joshua 24:15)

If God did not give man free will, He wouldn't tell man to choose who he is going to serve.

This is exactly why Free Republic invented the caucus thread option.

I love testimonies. They illustrate the power of God over our lives. Somewhere in everyone’s testimony is a phrase, “God showed me...”.

Thanks for posting.

The captions are Arabic. The voiceover was dubbed in English. There was a fair amount of effort involved in doing so. If you’ll notice the number of views on YouTube, it’s not exactly been seen a huge number of times. The production was nice enough but fairly low budget. That’s possible now with widely available, affordable editing software.

Maybe if you were less demanding and more humble, the need for a version with English captioning will be addressed. Maybe someone here on FR would transcribe it for you, who knows? But, not everyone sharing testimony via YouTube has the budget to cover everybody’s unique need.

Disabilities are difficult, of that I have no doubt. But you’ll get more help asking nicely than you will in being critical and demanding.

No, not dubbed -- the man was speaking English originally. It is a powerful, inspiring and wonderful testimony. Praise God, Jesus Christ the Son of God and the Holy Spirit!

I was left with the impression that it was dubbed. The soundtrack gets pretty out of sync if it wasn’t.

That's your computer not keeping up. The speed of the original was at the lowest setting -- 240-- so it might be your connection.
